Fashion is a form of collective behavior, an unpredictable social behavior (Thio, pg. 404). It "is a great, through brief, enthusiasm among a relatively large number of people for a particular innovation" (Thio, pg. 409). I chose this photo because it represents how fashion has changed though the years and how people has followed this social behavior without noticing the big change.
https://i1.wp.com/fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/109/b/c/western_fashion_timeline_by_terrizae-d3ee2us.jpg

They explain the importance of hi-tech to create good leaders, as "the Japanese culture emphasizes the importance of social relationship and collective welfare" (Thio, pg. 414). This article relates to the book because it is an example of how "tradition and modernization can coexist and even reinforce each other" (Thio, pg. 415).
https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/396843-japenese-cultuteeminar-on-renowned-scholar-mr-yukichi-fukuzawa

he evolutionary theory explains that "societies change gradually from simple to complex forms" (Thio, pg. 417). I chose this photo because it represents the evolutionary theory of the gradual change, where one can see that as a society we started as a foraging society, and right now we were in the postindustrial society. It was a huge change, but right now we are a complex society showing that societies would naturally and inevitably improve (Thio, pg. 417).
https://isinylmz.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/evolution222.jpg

I chose this image as it shows the conflict between the two classes of a capitalist society that Marx exposed. "These classes are in constant conflict which each other as the capitalists want to keep wages low in order to maximize their profits and the workers resist this exploitation (Thio, pg. 219). While the capitalists have a huge income, workers survive with low wages or sometimes their need more jobs to survive, so this creates a revolutionary changed because of the unconformity of the workers.
https://thesecularjurist.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/cartoon-capitalism-is-not-working.jpg

This article talks about the royal traditions that the queen has broken for Meghan Markle. This is an example of how "human beings actively interpret the world around them and then act, or interact with others, in accordance with the interpretations" (Thio, pg. 420). These royal traditions have been for centuries in the royal family, and the Queen really understands the importance of this traditions as they have been in the family for a long time. However, as the world is changing, she notices that maybe the royal traditions need to be renewed a little bit in order to change their interactions with others in society.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/fabulous/7873420/royal-traditions-the-queen-has-broken-meghan-markle/

The U.S has changed a lot since the 1970s, and one of those big changes is the role of women in the society. This video shows the women's role in society right now and how this impact others in society. "Women now outnumber men in earning bachelor's degrees, and more significantly, women's share of doctorates has soared" (Thio, pg. 422). As the woman is getting power in society, women have more opportunities to have a better job and educational opportunities that change the society either way.
https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=women+in+society+now&&view=detail&mid=6210C5582708EAD858836210C5582708EAD85883&&FORM=VDRVRV

The future is always unpredictable as it can change every moment, however, there are some things that we can predict such as works. "Today, more than two-thirds of the U.S. labor force works in information-related service industries such as health care, retail trade, and financial services" (Thio, pg. 424). Many people believe that these jobs will have an increase in demand-boom generation will soon reach retirement age, so there will be many jobs requiring intellectual skills instead of physical skills (Thio, pg. 423). So, I chose this video because it talks about the jobs that will be in demand in the future according to the book, and it also explains what you need to get that job.
https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=which+jobs+will+be+in+demand+in+the+future&&view=detail&mid=56666A140E429168FDEC56666A140E429168FDEC&&FORM=VRDGAR
