MY calling from God

-God calls each of us in our own special way in form. To discover my vocation I have been praying to God about it and following the steps on the back of the vocation prayer card. I think God is calling me to live the vocation of marriage.

God calls each one of us individually and by our own name. This can be in any way, shape, or form. He has a special plan for each one of us we just need to trust in him.

Who is my inspiration?

Chris Carlson is my inspiration because at the beginning she was not as holy and not as spiritual as she is now and when she was telling her story it was amazing to hear how she TRUSTED in God and continued to listen to him for her vocation.

How I feel about this

-Personally I am open to whatever God calls me to be in any vocation. I think I am called to the married life because I have prayed and prayed about it and I think God has finally answered my call to the marriage vocation.

-Another reason that I think God is calling me to the life of marriage is that whenever I take time to talk to him whether through prayer or following the steps on the vocation prayer card God has always put it in my mind that marriage is my true vocation.

Single life

In the single life, you are a part of God's special army. He has a plan for each one of us whether it be the religious life, married life, or the commited single life. At one point in your life or another you are a part of the single life. During this time You are called to live a life of holiness and have the ability to serve God anytime and anywhere.

Answering my vocation call

I am most excited about finding out what God has in store for me now and in the future. I am most nervous about how will I react when I truly find my vocation but, I must trust that God has made the right choice for me and to follow the path he made. I must Answer his call because if I didn't Wouldn't know what to do with my life.

For many of us we think that we are to young to know our vocation or just don't want to take the time to listen to God to find your true vocation. But that is just what we need to be doing because God calls all of us at different times in all of our lives. So we should take time every day to pray and talk with him about discerning our vocation.

Selfless not Selfish

God wants us all to be selfless and not selfish. If we only thought of ourselves the whole time we have short term happiness but also long term misery. With God's grace we must be selfless and help others discern their vocation.

Religious life

Many people are often scared to answer God's call to the religious life whether it be priest, brother, sister, nun, bishop, or even the pope. Many people are often scared because there are only the few people called to the religious life. Without them thought there wouldn't be a church or even a religion anymore if people didn't take on the burden of becoming a religious man or woman.
