Different foods like buffalo and and dried salmon and berries and roots  were eaten by Lewis and Clark and different sicknesses  like venereal diseases was spreading because of the bleeding of different cultural.

Some countries decide not to colonize if there is no value in the land and their was value in the United States land, so people wanted to move to those colonies were its valuable and they want the three G's. Lewis and Clark gave US a strong claim for land.

(Gold) 1803, Thomas Jefferson requests funding from Congress to finance the Lewis and Clark expedition. Jefferson officially asked for $2,500 in funding from Congress, though some sources indicate the expedition ultimately cost closer to $50,000. (Glory) and Lewis and Clark were more than representatives of European rationalism. They also represented the rising American empire, one built on aggressive territorial expansion and commercial gain.
