1. Be energy efficient.

Turn off the lights! Change your bulbs in your home to compact fluorescents or LEDs. Unplug computers, TVs, game cubes, hair dryers, and chargers when you’re not using them. Use wool dryer balls or better yet, hang dry. Install a programmable thermostat. When choosing your utilities, pick newer brands with energy star labels.

Energy production is by far the biggest emitter of greenhouse gases globally. Generating electricity usually means burning coal, crude oil, or fossil fuels. And the byproducts for this are greenhouse gases. Plus, being energy efficient means you’re saving dollars. So why not?

2. Reduce water waste.

If one out of every 100 homes were fitted with water-efficient fixtures, about 80,000 tons of global warming pollution would be avoided. So don’t underestimate water usage in its power to stop climate change.

Take shorter showers, don’t leave your tap running, use cold/warm settings on washing machines instead of hot, and make sure you have water efficient fixtures.

3. Eat consciously.

Nearly 18% of global greenhouse gas emissions come from dairy and meat production. Farms produce 13% of global greenhouse emissions. This makes agriculture the third largest emitter in the world.

When possible, buy organic and locally grown foods. Avoid processed items, grow your own food, eat low on the food chain. The good news is eating to save the world usually means eating to save your health too!

4. Limit your waste.

Reduce, reuse, recycle. The age-old proverb. It might seem like it’s not helping to stop climate change, but trust us, it is. Landfills produce tons of methane and contribute to your carbon footprint. So, shop smarter, compost kitchen scraps and garden trimmings, and bring your own bags to the grocery store.

5. Travel mindfully.

The transportation industry is a huge contributor to climate change. There’s no way to not travel— we all need to go to work and school and on vacation. But, when you are traveling, be mindful!

Where possible, walk, bike, or bus. Believe it or not, if everyone kept their tires properly inflated, we’d save about 1.2 billion gallons of gas per year.

6. Plant plants.

Let nature save itself. Planting trees, gardens, and flowers helps to stop climate change. Plants produce oxygen and happiness — two things the world could use more of.

Is the tendency to increase the level of the Black Sea , at present it is going to be higher . In addition, the Black Sea is experiencing decreasing salinity in the surface layer and oxygen level in the deep water and tends to freeze more often on the coast. This phenomenon affects the marine life and the surrounding areas.

Is is the largest “ urban heat island “ in Romania and the city that would be the most affected by the climatic effect because the greenhouse effect the overcrowding and the pollution are always present.
Snow layer reduction :
The average thickness of the snow layer will decrease steadily , with Center, the West of the country and Moldova being the most vulnerable.
Tornadoes:
The Drajna tornado was formed when the cold atmospheric front that entered România , at Oltenita , collided with a very hot air . Due to the high temperatures, cumulonimbus clouds have developed very much, whose height reached 13-14 kilometers.

Plastic or polyethylene without a doubt is harmful, not only for the health of humans but also for the health of the biodiversity. Banning plastic from the environment will automatically reduce the levels of pollution to several folds.

Alternating fossil fuels with the energy of our hottest star might be an excellent idea to decline the trend of overuse of resources. The use of solar panels to enlighten our houses at night can save thousands of megawatts of electricity.
Although, setting up rooftop solar panels can be expensive. But with the advancement in technology, the rates of solar panels are declining, and the overall cost of installing these panels will get mitigated in the long run.
Stop chopping the forests
Deforestation is one of the major reasons why the quality of air has degraded to an all-time low. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, that climate change is too big to solve. But we already have the answers, it’s just a question of making them happen.

Fossil fuels need to be quickly replaced with cleaner, renewable energy like wind and solar power. Governments and companies need to further invest in low carbon transport solutions.

We need to stop destroying forests for intensive agriculture such as cattle farming and palm oil plantations, allowing the trees to regrow and planting hundreds of millions more. And creating ocean sanctuaries will provide protected areas in which sea life can flourish away from the threats of industrial fishing, helping to restore the oceans’ natural balance.

It is often said that everyday gestures will not be enough to save the planet, however, they are absolutely necessary as a first tool to raise awareness of

ecology and sustainable development .

So , First , I must save water , take a quick shower and turn off the water when I brush my teeth or wash my hands . Second , I must save energy , I don't leave electrical appliances on standby and I turn off the lights when I leave a room

and modulate the heating according to the rooms of the house and  use low consumption bulbs . Finally , I must install multiple sockets with on-off button in order to switch the devices to standby.Unplug your chargers when not in use.
