My in-group in particular is important and should be noticed because this group stems insecurity for many (but not all) individuals due to the demands from society to modify ourselves to appease their beauty ideals. By noticing this problem, it can be fixed while still having an in-group for people that like to wear cosmetic arts.

In group experiences are valuable in modern society due to our inability to escape them and their effects. Individuals should care about the Christian in-group in particular because religion as a whole, posses the power to move millions towards a single idea or goal. Christianity being one of the largest religions in the world is no exception, and the effects or Christianity permeate society affecting Christians and non-Christians.

Atheism is one of the fastest growing "religions" in the world, because of this, our society should make a greater effort to see why many people are no longer believing what they have for centuries. A growing atheist group can effect the governments of many countries around the world that are based on religion or religious values.

People should care about in-groups because they define people. Though we all are in different in-groups, they affect us in some way and help shape who we are. People should care about the vegetarian in-group because they may have similar ethical opinions or feelings. If they know someone with bad eating habits, it could also be a red flag for an eating disorder or the relapse of an eating disorder. People who are vegetarian should care because it shows they are disciplined and can think about the good of things other than themselves; like the health of the planet and animals.

People should care about in-group because they help individuals find similarities with others which can make them closer. They also are what define people. People should care about the in-group of children with authoritative parents because we are not raised in a strict household, but rather a nurturing yet disciplinary one, which can get confused with authoritarian parents. These findings have important consequences for the broader issues of how we are raised, our mental health, and educational opportunities.
