This story is about Zits, a 15 year old orphan who has been rebellious to anything in his life, especially his foster homes he gets put into. While he is put into a juvenile detention center he meets a companion, that leads him to make an outrageous decision. After that event Zits is living in different bodies, in different eras of time, but still aware of his decisions and his conscience.

"The last time my mother was happy she was on an airplane. So maybe this is my last place to be happy."
This line was memorable because this is the first time Zits goes into detail about his mother, and how he compared his happiness to his mother's happiness revealing why he is the way he is.

Identity

All throughout the book Zits has to deal living in someone else's body, and with that comes along living their lives, dealing with their relationships. The thing is Zits' conscience is still there, he knows that he is not himself anymore so apart of him deals with the situation he's getting put into in that body.
I mean with that, that's already way big for Zits, before he got put into new bodies he didn't want anything to do with anyone because he had no mom or no father to look up to. He cussed out his foster parents, and he shot up the bank. So the phrase "put yourself in someone else's shoes" does a great deal for Zits' identity he's never been taught that, so seeing the world in a whole different view will teach him a lot.

I'm a blank sky, a human solar eclipse."
I mess with this line because it's really deep and it really tells you about Zits as a person and what he thinks about himself and I like the metaphor.
