There are several people that have some brilliant ideas in order to solve the food waste problem in Indonesia. The first one is a woman who collect the leftover of rice from their neighbours and transform it into animal feed. Undirectly, this woman has a role to solve the food waste issue and economic issue by buying the leftover of rice from her neighbour. The second one is the volunteer from an organization called Garda Pangan which save the leftovers from food stall, hotel, and others and then distribute the food to the citizen. Garda Pangan also has an important role in solving food waste and hunger issue at same time. They all are amazing people with brilliant idea. Proud of them.

Utilizing food before it rots, then separating food and storing it in the right place is an effective way to save food. Then to increase public awareness, you can start from your own home (yourself) then provide examples or even educate the community regarding the impact of food waste.
