 Born  December 28, 1922 in New York City  His Father Jack and Mother Celia were immigrants from Romania who lived in a tiny apartment Stan parents moved because they had dreams like millions of other people. Stan's parents wanted to start a family and buy a house. Jack Lee  got a job at  fabric factory. When the Great Depression Stanley Parents lost there apartment  and had to move into a even smaller home. Stan favorite teacher was Leon b. Ginsberg he always told funny stories.  as a boy  Stan loved  to read and write  as a kid .
