         <title>Australia at the Paris Peace Conference</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. What was the Paris Peace Conference?<br>-The Paris Peace conference was a conference held in Paris to allow countries to sign the Treaty of Versailles.<br>2. Who represented Australia?<br>  - The Australian Prime Minister William 'Billy' Hughes went away for 16 months and at the end of this time he had signed the Treaty of Versailles on the behalf of Australia.<br><br>3. What was the purpose?<br>  -The purpose of the Paris   Conference was to establish the terms of the peace treaty after world war 1.<br><br>4. Why was it important to Australia?<br>  -The Paris conference was important to Australia because  the peace treaty was established.
