The scene particularly in 2:33 - 2:53, wherein where all hope is lost for the characters to the extent of accepting their fate, it is seen that a giant claw would pick the toys up and away from the incinerator seemingly saving them from what looks like an impossible fate to avoid. It is also later revealed that the three alien toys were the ones that saved them. This depicts the concept of Deus Ex Machina where a particular part in a story where it may seem unsolvable, but intervened by an unexpected event.

In this scene the heroes are trying to rescue one of the students that have been kidnaped. But suddenly several "nomu" (artificial humans or experiments) and an unknown individual appears. The two heroes tried to fight back on this individual. But the unknown individual wipes out the two heroes in an instant. It has been discovered that this individual is all for one. (the nomu's are shown if it's the full episode this is just the appearance of all for one). Anyway i wanted to go for something a little different because when I chose this I had the same role with somebody else which was "deus ex machina". So I went with the opposite and that is diabolus ex machina. It's designed to ensure that things suddenly get much worse for the protagonists like some sort of challenge they have to get through.

In a particular previous public address of former Pres. Duterte, he stated that the reason why Atty. Diokno failed to win was because of his 'teeth' and not because of the lack of votes and trust in his competency. This is an example of an ad hominem statement; Instead of stating an argument objectively appropriate on a given matter, the opposing person's self and innate characteristics are being criticized. Generally, statements utilizing this literary device are irrational and are considered a 'logical fallacy' since their points are insignificant to the real grounds of the happening.

Ned Stark, Hand of the King, wants no part of the planned murder. He exemplified honour and righteousness, and the council & the King highlighted these traits by opposing his moral views.

In this video, you will see Lucian and Senna (champions in League of Legends), talking about where they should go (this is after Senna escaped from Thresh' lantern). All of a sudden Isolde(Soul fragment in Senna) warned Senna that the mist is coming signifying Viego's arrival. Viego rushes to Senna in order to take back his queen's fragmented soul. Once ruler of a long-lost kingdom, Viego perished over a thousand years ago when his attempt to bring his wife back from the dead triggered the magical catastrophe known as the Ruination. Viego is called the " Ruined King " because he was so emotionally ruined when Isolde was killed, which caused him to trigger the Ruination.

The parts of this clip relevant to my chosen literary device begins at the 1:58 mark. As the Old shopkeeper is driving away a homeless man in front of his store, a lady asks the old shopkeeper “What has he ever done to you?”. This is because of the shopkeeper’s and homeless man's previous interactions, which are largely just the shopkeeper expressing hostility towards the homeless man and driving him away. As the shopkeeper raises the shutters to a new day, he is visibly surprised to see that the homeless man is absent from his usual spot in front of the store. The shopkeeper from the neighboring store then remarks “He is long gone”. The old man is thinking when he remembers a CCTV camera overlooking the storefront. As he reviews the footage of his previous interactions with the homeless man, he also discovers clips of the homeless man driving away vandals and drunks, and receiving food from the lady who had asked him a critical question earlier. At this point, the old man is visibly upset and is reflecting on his actions when he sees a clip of the homeless man confronting two helmet-clad men attempting to break into the bookstore. When he knocks down one of the would-be burglars, the other pulls out a switchblade and manages to stab the homeless man in the abdomen. The homeless man stumbles onto the closed shutters of the bookstore as the two burglars scramble. As hits in the abdomen are usually fatal, the homeless man is implied to have bled out from his injuries. It then cut to the old man, sitting in front of his monitor, in tears about what he has watched and his decisions prior.

https://youtu.be/cPAbx5kgCJo
Soliloquy is an act of speaking one's thoughts aloud, a monologue addressed to oneself, regardless of any hearers, especially by a character in a play. Soliloquies are used as a device in drama to let a character make their thoughts known to the audience. "How far I'll go" is a song from the film, Moana. In the song, Moana is trying to decide whether she should leave the island or stay on the island, asking herself, "How far I'll go?" As such, this is an example of a soliloquy.
