They live in the waters of Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand. Blobfish are about 1 foot in length and they are born they are born without muscles or bones. Scientists Believe that blobfish eat there food by opening their mouths and letting whatever Comes in their mouth would be their food. That is a reason why they are endangered Because they can suck in things that are not good for them.Blobfish and normal fish are different in various ways. One of the differences from blobfish and fish is the fact blobfish do not have swim bladders which enables Them to float towards the surface of the water. One of the facial features of a Blobfish is the so called “nose” of the blobfish. People really think that down the Middle of the blobfish there is a nose, but really, it is just a flap of skin. Since they live so deep in the water, food is scarce for the blobfish. But they eat whatever can fit in their mouth.
