Trays demo Temp of plastic tray 70.7 degrees F metal tray 70 degrees F this shows that plastic is an insulator keeping the heat out making it a good building material unlike metal which works as a conductor letting the heat right through it would be bad to use plastic as a floor in your home because it will keep things the same temp or get cold when I tested a black versus mylar roof the black roof went from 70.3 degrees F to 83.5 degrees F and had a 13.2 degree difference unlike the mylar which went from 71.1 to 78.1 degrees F which is a 7 degree difference showing that a mylar roof will keep it cooler and then a black roof in the attic vs floor it had about a 14 degree difference for the attic and a zero degree difference for the first floor but when you flip it these it was the same results because it didn't matter which floor it was the heat lamp was gonna heat up the floor closet these reslults all help find out which materials should be placed where and how and which ones to use and not use
