I do agree with the theory because some people who are very confident are way over their head and they crumble when they mess up. in some cases I would disagree this is because some people are different like my self and I am a very confident person who can still perform better than a lot of people even with the amount of confidence I have

I agree with the model because as individuals, some performers could have an optimum level of positive pressure at which people perform at their best. This can show that performers are able to relieve the stress and pressure when a huge game has arrived and the scenario could be a cup final. For example, it could regard a team that's got to a cup final in the last 3 years. The same individuals that were in the cup final 2 years ago are still here at present so this could give them the confidence because they've been here before (de ja vu), and they've won it in the past which could give them that additional plus of pressure.

I agree with this theory because if you're over confident your most likely to not play as a team because you think you have the ability to work on your own. If your arousal is low then your performance will drop because you're less confident and might miss easy chances to score.

I agree with the model because if you have low confidence you will not achieve the optimal performance level possible. For example if you are a goalkeeper saving a penalty and you have very low confidence levels then you wont believe in yourself and won't try as hard and are more likely to concede the goal.

I agree with the theory because if you have a low level of confidence then you are most likely to perform not so well. Whereas, if you have a medium level of confidence then you will perform better. However, i disagree in some cases that if your confidence is high then you would perform lower. This is because if you are confident or over confident then you would use it to motivate you to perform better.
