For my TikTok I included all the main important facts about so my class knew all about me. A few things went wrong as it was quite difficult trying to edit my video and making sure it all flowed together. However after I got used to it everything was quite easy and straight forward. Once it was completed I stood in front of my class and presented my video to my classmates. People were able to ask more questions so they could learn more about me. It went well as people enjoyed it and found out things about me and it made me a lot more confident in getting up in front of a large group of people.

When I enrolled in this course, I demonstrated good communication because I had to explain why I thought this was the right decision for me. I also had to communicate with the staff about my career path after college. It went well as they made me feel welcome from the start and did not put me under any pressure.

when I was in gymnastics, I showed good communication when I had to take over the class for a bit. It went well because I was able to communicate with the coaches and all of my team. This communication helped me gain confidence as it gave me the ability to have authority over other people but also help them at the same time.

As a group we designed little squares and put an interesting fact on the back so our classmates could find out more stuff about us. Once we had all designed our square we came together to help create a blanket. We each took part in using string and our paper squares to create this. It took a lot of teamwork as we needed to come up with an efficient way so the blanket was stable and properly put together. One thing that went well was that everyone’s square was the same shape and size so it made it a lot easier for the blanket to be put together correctly however some people didn’t take part which made it harder to finish as it took longer. If we were to do it again I would change to material of the blanket and squares to card so it is stronger and can hold together better.

In our induction week we took part in a scavenger hunt. We chose our teams and worked through clues to successfully finish the treasure hunt. It went well as we all got on well with each other which made it easier for us to complete it quickly due to us all taking part. However the only thing that didn’t go so well was that near the end some of our team started to get bored which resulted in us not completing our task as quick as we possibly could. If I could do it again I would change my team to have people in it that I know well.

In our physical prep lesson we all took part in a frisbee game. We got put into teams. This helped build teamwork as we were with different people rather than our friends. We had to trust each other to throw a frisbee at someone in the group for them to then catch it. Once we had practiced in our groups we all had one big game of frisbee where two teams played against each other. It went well because every one joined in and it also built a stronger friendship between people because we were put with people we wouldn't normally speak to. However, the one thing that went bad was not everyone could play correctly so it caused some tension within the game.

In Teamwork and communication we got into groups and had to come up with a team activity for our other classmates to take part in. Our group decided on an obstacle course. We developed this in lesson so it was ready for people to successfully try it the lessons after. Once it was completed we presented our idea and allowed people to have a go at the course. It promoted communication skills because the people involved would be blindfolded and relied on their teamwork to give them directions around the course. This helped the people taking part gain confidence in each other as they put there trust in them to give them the correct instructions. One thing that went well is that everyone managed to complete the course which demonstrated that our classmates trusted each other. However one thing that could've gone better was more people listening to each other.

While in college the army came in to do some activities with us. The activities relied on team work but also having trust in your self. We had to listen to each other and act on their ideas. One thing that went well was that we completed all activities in a fast time. One thing that could've gone better would be to make sure that everyone got their voice heard and were able to give their ideas out.

In teamwork and communication the class had to create and take part in activities created by their classmates. This improved confidence because you were able to create something on your own and present it to your group, this also helped self esteem. One thing that went well is that I was able to successfully complete all of my classmates activities. However one thing that could've gone better would've been for everyone to take part.

Last week it was industry week at college. we attended talks all week and took part in some activities. This helped us all to decide on a job roll if anyone was still undecisive. By us going to talks about anti crime helps us gain more social responsibility because we can tell right from wrong. One thing that went well is that everyone took part and found it informative. However one thing that could've gone better is people engaging more. For example asking questions at the end of each session.

in August 2023, I went on a cruise with my family around the Mediterranean. Over 2 weeks we visited lots of different Spanish cities and also a place in the South of France. The cruise allowed me to gain more cultural knowledge because each city was different although they were part of the same country. We visited different cathedrals at each place and also did a lot of sightseeing gaining information on the towns and cities. One thing that went well on the cruise is we got to see how different these places are to England (how people live, the weather, food and language). However one thing that could've gone better was the weather in Marseille, we didn't get to explore this place due to rain so we didn't get any information on their cultures

In December 2023 I went to New York. I stayed over in New Jersey for 10 days and over this time explored both New York City and New Jersey. Being able to see both the city and suburbs in America was a huge benefit at seeing how different they both are and it helped us gain more cultural knowledge on them both. It was busy in New York and everyone was always in a rush or not paying attention to people around them, however New Jersey was much more quiet and everyone was so friendly. Due to New York being such a big state, even the places there were massive cultural differences. Downtown and Midtown were much different to the Upper West side for example the people in the Upper West side were more helpful and kind, whereas the people in Downtown Manhattan weren't as talkative toward us tourists. One thing that went well is that I got to try different food that we don't have over in the UK, this helped with different culture because everything was so different, the taste to the portion sizes.

September 2022, I went to the Natural history museum. I gained a lot of cultural knowledge because there was information about different years and we found out how people lived all those years ago. we learnt about dinosaurs, cave men, different events that occurred before our time. It was really interesting. One thing that went well was I learnt things that I didn't already know, for example I found out about all the animals that where alive years ago.

on March 6th 2024 I started working at Starbucks. This has been my favourite job so far because everyone is so nice and welcoming here. Working here has shown me the importance of having a good team at work as we wouldn't be as successful if no one got along. One thing that has gone well working here is that it is helping me gain experience for when I finish at college and get a full time job as I am gaining experience in working with members of the public and I also get to meet new people everyday.

My first job was at Tesco, this was important as it gave me an idea of what it was like to earn my own money and have a job. It made me more independent as I was doing something for myself instead of relying on other people. Working at Tesco helped me gain experience in many things such as customer service, money handling, and it helped developed my communication skills with members of the public. One thing that went well was I got to meet new people and make new work friends. One thing I wished had've gone better is being kept on longer as it was only a temporary seasonal job I was only there for a few months.

One of my other jobs I worked at was McDonald's, I got this job in April 2023 and stayed here until December. I gained a lot of experience from this job as it was really fast paced and there was lots of different things to learn. One thing that went really well here is I developed communication skills as there was a lot of staff working here, however this sometimes made it stressful especially if it was busy. One thing that could've gone better, is if the managers were nicer, I would've probably stayed if they cared more.
