Great job Diana!

I like how you:

T: Use cpdd cards to play snap game, and students can automatically lay out the cards, knowing what to do. I am also impressed with how you using blooklet to assess and check on students learning for bar graphs - a fun way to observe data. Students' maths journals are also written with notes and learnings!

A: How do you pair the students? (answered: intentional pairing)

G: Agree with Fronia, sometimes, the students will surprise us with what they know or have learnt previously/ daily lives as well as from their tuition. Good to let go a little (reminder for myself as well) and hear from them. Similarly, extension can also be done through students' responses - a lot of opportunities for What If.

Jia you! Great job for a "first-timer!"

I find it a challenge sometimes cuz there were soooo many qns in wb 🥲🥲 so I just circle the mistakes for MP and LP don’t circle for HP (just mark cross haha) i will try harder.

G: maybe can use existing qns to do peer tutoring ( save abit of time) so I got my “division masters” to adopt some Tutees to cross check their ans to the workbook ws n the masters can teach while the rest of the MP work on the multiplication drill practices

Children must copy important notes on their notebooks or ws. They need to capture the essential points. Honestly, I have approached teaching differently since. TLG and the department direction helps to clarify and align my thoughts. You are truly a good department head. All their coloured ws will be filed into a plastic sheet and filed into their Math Files. I don't believe in holding onto their files. Files are always at home after term 2.
