         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think the contrast between the younger voice and the older voice helps give the reader a more complete understanding of the story. Younger scout is more innocent and optimistic, and all the events are new to her, while older scout is more measured in her actions and looks back on these times with the wisdom granted by age and hindsight. Without both of the viewpoints, the narration would be woefully incomplete.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It gives multiple views of the story, where one you are in the mind of an ordinary 6 year old, and the other where you are taking the point of view of an intellectual(with surprisingly great vocabulary) who would definitely not seem as a 6 year old.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>1) The older voice of Scout understands more than the 6-year old Scout and can go deeper into the meaning of an event. By switching between voices the main character does not appear so close minded (for example Ann Frank). The older Scout is reflecting on what happened and possibly her opinion is not the same as it was when she was 6 yeasr old. That way we have different points of view and opinions on the same thing, which allows us to better understand the text. </div><div>2) By imediately switching to the older Scout after something is presented, we can ponder the meaning of something after it is presented. </div>]]></description>
