For our experimentation, we decided to focus on the UNSW Art and Design campus. We found the arc "free supplies" cupboard and wanted to create a type using those materials, relating to the campus. While we were there, we came across a map of the area which is made up of highly convoluted roads ranging from main streets like oxford street, to little bridge underpass paths. 

We noticed that it created a grid of some sort so we wanted to try to make a type utilising the grid similar to the way digital type can be created. Hence we decided to walk the three letters "ARC" and record it using the app "Joyrun". We decided to leave two different ways to follow our tracks. One was the digital way, where our walked track is uploaded on the app. The second one; we left marks using the ARC highlighter pointing the way. 

We were playing with the digital and physical creations of type in a digital and physical space. Interestingly, the path we walked was not recorded accurately, unknown to be due to technical precision limitations or physical interference (e.g. Swaying hands? Uneven road?).  It resulted in the recorded "type" jump out of the grid we initially set down, beyond our control; an unexpected result.
