A Socratic Seminar is when a group of people  have an academic discussion, voicing their opinion with evidence to back up their reasoning. This year, our two topics were civil rights discrimination, and the biggest impact of "The Christmas Carol". I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but I learned how to incorporate more information, make everything flow, and to create not only writing, but also a form of art. I have read many books this year, so this is hard to choose, but I think this book stood out to me. The book was very engaging, and since I am also Korean, it had some sort of cultural connection.
