The suffragettes were members of a women's organization who advocated for there right to vote. They believed that they had a say in what happened to wherever they lived because they were part of that society too.

How is that fair to you? It isn't. That is how most women feel all the time about their work. Title IX is an amendment stating that no extra curricular activity can be favored over the other depending on gender. For example, in sports there is no women's football team, so the school has to make that up by having an alternative sport for women to even the funding. Although school is not the workplace, school is the building blocks for sending someone into the workplace.

In offices there has been a new approach to how they evaluate and recruit their employees. Companies are now being trained to base their decision on overall achievement-criteria. The Women's March was a way for people to express their voices and get people thinking. There has also been a huge movement that encourages young girls to be a part of sports and fight for change.
