I think leadership is a journey. For me, I want it to be about building connection through trust and clear communication, about uniting the team on clear vision and goals, and making sure everyone feels heard and supported as we work towards it, enabling them. I don't see it as a fixed position; I know I will continually grow as a leader, in the same way I have as a teacher. Different approaches will be needed at different times, but always: kindness and authenticity.
