One day when Mia is walking by a pet store one day she sees a parrot and that is when she gets a great idea on how to communicate a little better with abuela. <br>Teaching Idea: After reading the story I will ask the students to picture them with their grandparents, parents, or a loved one and think about trying to communicate with them and telling them how your day was, or the other way around and not being able to understand one another. I would want them to understand how frustrating that might be, then I would like the students to write down why that might be difficult for them and sad. </div>]]></description>

After doing that a couple times I will just say a color in Spanish and have them hold up the item that is that color. <br>This video could be any age if they are new to the Spanish language. </div>]]></description>
