The potential of virtual reality as an educational tool is evident, although it is not always the most appropriate, so its use must be carefully evaluated and defined.
In the context of basic and vocational education, in different areas, levels of perfomance and circumstances, where traditional and remote education can be used differently.

Augmented reality
At an educational level, which is the one that most interests us, augmented reality can take on a great role.  This technology makes it easier for visual and interactive aspects to coexist.  The fact of being able to visualize a virtual element in the real world implies that the acceptance and acquisition of new knowledge is mixed with the experience of manipulating it yourself.
The use of augmented reality does not affect the use of other methods such as textbooks, but they can have a symbiotic relationship of information processing, so that it contains visual information in augmented reality and an extension of text written on paper.
Augmented reality allows us to carry out visual learning, since the brain processes images 60,000 times faster than text, so the benefit is more than evident.  In addition, it is helping us to familiarize the student with new technologies so that they acquire the ability to use and work with said technologies at the same time as they acquire other knowledge, without having to dedicate a specific time for this objective.
