         <description><![CDATA[<div>The main positive that I see is that there is much less resistance if any when asking the students to write. Whether they are doing it just to get it done or accepting that it is important, the bottom line is that they are writing! We just need them to improve on effort. In the writings I graded I can see an understanding of what we are asking, just a lack of effort.&nbsp;<br><br>Denny</div>]]></description>

Also hearing students talk about (and sometimes complain) all the writing they are being asked to do is a good thing - and I remind them of that.  Critical skills.  Nice to see this momentum happening.  Still struggling with some who don&#39;t want to write, but it is a good process and challenge.</title>

Before it was very hard to get three well written paragraphs out of some of them, now they just do it.  The use of complete sentences and descriptive words is much better.</title>
