“Constructing mindsets”
Inspirational talk. However, we talked about some possible barriers for teachers to develop teaching and learning in the way Simon talked about. E.g. a subject bound curriculum

one of our group participant experienced one of the workshop ran by kaospilot and it ws a great thing.
The talk focused on our positive things but what about our weaknesses?
it is very important to change the way teachers think , to be more more like a coach than a teacher

One member liked the Learning Arches but particularly the diagonals showing that the task must be more complex in order for students to really succeed.

Search for originality and to be able to reflect on it daily

'stretching complexity' in order to keep engagement of students!

---------

or Older students useable especially in short courses. Exams would lessen the appeal for both students and teachers. It sounds exciting but also difficult to incorporate. Probably works best in projects where you want to be close to the real world as well as to connecting personal goals with learning situations and problem solving.

Shirt courses. Exams. Digg to incorporate.

Effective part is : Participants as self assessment. New trends

Learning logs and Guided questions.

Marks are outside assessments but also still part of our world.

Cooperate with everyone. Value

Disseminate knowledge ?

Peer to peer education. Links with reflection. Group work where everybody works is an ideal goal

Perhaps we are at present better at promoting reflectivity than incorporating it into the next lesson unit.

The school has really adapted the school building to a pedagogical idea more adapted to what the flexibility the keynote Simon K talked about
It was great to see kids being in the school. We didn't hear much about the curriculum and what is being taught .It was amazing how architecture and space design went with pedagogy. Very often they don"t go together .

being outward and the space out there; physical activities is positive

Positive atmosphere pedagogy, what are the results
