A call out to my In-Laws, who are both in heaven. My MIL taught me to let things go that were in my past that were stressful. Allow others to give and be able to accept. It doesn’t have to be ‘my way’. My FIL always gave unconditional love! I didn’t know what that was. Their love for their granddaughters - immeasurable!

I'm grateful to my 92 year old Grandmother, who cares about social justice, who rearranged her kitchen nook for the first time in 55 years last week to have something to do, who sends me dirty jokes and silly videos, who b"h is still here. I'm where I am because of her magic and majesty.

Thank you to my parents... to my dad who despite a severe stroke taught me "it's not what you lost, it's what you've got left," to my mom who taught me to listen (although I don't do it as well as I would like to) and to both of them who taught me the importance of having a sense of humor. May their memories be for a blessing to my family's future generations...

Thank you to my beloved puppy of 11 years, who we had to put down a week ago. You taught me friendship and love, responsibility and now heartbreak. I love you and miss you so much and I wish I could hug you one more time. I know you are in a place of no suffering now, and your soul with fill the hole in my heart, and I will carry you with me forever. I am grateful for our time together, every moment of those 11 years, which now feel far too short. Someday I will be able to look at pictures and remember you fondly, but it’s just too raw right now. I love you, my sweetest angel. And i miss you. So, so much.
