The Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Murasso also provides training and direction to the teaching staff of the parish’s religious education program.

He facilitated the establishment of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Parish by overseeing the merger of St. Clare Church, St. Vincent de Paul Church, St. Bernadette Church, and Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Prior to this, he spent the year leading up to this merger as the pastor and administrator at Our Lady of Pompeii.

Alongside his work at Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Dr. Murasso holds concurrent teaching roles as an adjunct professor at Catholic Biblical School and the Graduate Theological Foundation. At the latter institution, he teaches existential psychology and pastoral logotherapy.

Jeremiah Murasso draws on more than 45 years of experience in the pastoral and education fields, as well as an extensive education. He has eight graduate degrees spanning such subjects as dogmatic theology, philosophy, education, and applied psychology, which he earned at different institutions. In addition, he has doctorates in pastoral psychology, psychology, and education from the Graduate Theological Foundation.
