City: Porto is the second and fourth most populous city in Portugal, located in the northwest of the country and capital of the Porto Metropolitan Area of the North Region and the Porto district. The municipality, with 41.42 km² of area, has a population of 237 591 inhabitants within its administrative limits, being subdivided into seven parishes. The city of Porto is known as the Cidade Invicta and as the Capital of the North. The “Torre dos Clérigos” and the “Fundação de Serralves”, a museum of contemporary art, as well as many other churches, squares and varied monuments, stand out as tourist attractions. The Historic Centre is a World Heritage Site, classified by UNESCO. At its center is the Douro River, which has allowed and still allows to be a source of wealth for the city. Foz is another highly touristic area, by many considered the most beautiful area of the city, where you can enjoy the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean combined with a beautiful and romantic sea walk.  In Roman times it was called Cale or Portus Cale, being the origin of the name of Portugal. His football team is "Futebol Clube do Porto". Known by his team of professional players, who currently play in the first league, the most important competition in Portuguese football.

João do Porto....) . Various foods, such as the Pastel de Belém, Cod ( à Brás, with Cream, Gomes de Sá...), Ranch, Olive oil, Wine, Sardine, Grape, Olives (...)
