      <description>Most recently, Daniel Zimmerman served as a managing director at Goldman Sachs &amp; Co, where he was a co-portfolio manager of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Division’s Small/Mid Cap Growth Fund. Joining the firm in 2003, Mr. Zimmerman began as a financial analyst and subsequently accepted responsibilities as a Global Investment Research Division analyst. Initially covering telecommunication services, he moved on to the mortgage and specialty finance arena. In 2008, at the outset of the Great Recession, he achieved industry recognition through writing groundbreaking research on the mortgage agencies Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

Throughout his career, Mr. Zimmerman’s research has been cited in several financial publications, including Investor&#39;s Business Daily and Bloomberg. Based in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts from the University of Richmond in accounting and finance, and was awarded the Arthur Andersen Accounting Merit Scholarship.</description>
