         <description><![CDATA[<div>The main initial challenge in ‘WP4 Utilisation of sport in education and training’ of YIBinS project was to organise in tight cooperation with local schools and educational<br>institutions as well as together with local sports clubs and multicultural associations.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Thus, some of the best practices are:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>● It is necessary that the cooperation and networks for better services be approached institutionally and not occasionally, according to the aim of this project.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>● It is necessary that the stakeholders be able to manage new tools for distance learning and based on those such as Web 2.0, to get in line and, finally, to face the challenge of social networks as learning environments.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>● It is necessary to put the responsibility on the youth with an immigrant background (YIB) to be responsible for themselves and their progress.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>● The youth with an immigrant background (YIB) has to be helped to develop as a professional and human being and to join the life-long learning system which society provides for its members.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>● The figure "Tutor" represents and forms the pillars of the tutorship/mentorship<br>system in the context of the dual career of athletes, and the youth with an<br>immigrant background (YIB).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Based on WP5, we have added the points that we have considered that could serve as best practices and recommendations:</div><div><br></div><div>WP5 - Best practices</div><div><br></div><div>The main initial challenge in ‘WP5 Utilisation of Sport in employment and recruitment to Sport Organisations’ of YIBinS project was to lower the threshold of the YIB to employ themselves and build up the connections to the sports organisations, public bodies and companies seeking for the workforce. Thus, some of the best practices are:</div><div><br></div><div>Some "best practices":</div><div><br></div><div>-It is very positive that it becomes a <strong>permanent service</strong> to all youth with an immigrant background (YIB) who fit under the proposed criteria available.</div><div><br>&nbsp;- It is<strong> critical to select, recruit and train</strong> youth with an immigrant background (YIB) who are highly motivated and more sensitive to the problems facing that particular category of participants because they can be a link to help other young people with the same characteristics.</div><div><br>&nbsp;- The <strong>instructors </strong>should be open-minded and flexible to understand the reality of each youth with an immigrant background (YIB) and they should maintain contact with student-athletes to monitor whether YIBinS participants are doing enough.</div><div><br>&nbsp;- It is important <strong>to identify the particular needs</strong> of each youth with an immigrant background (YIB) by formulating with the tutor the “roadmap” for each student-athlete.</div><div><br></div><div>-<strong>Mentoring</strong> helps youth with an immigrant background (YIB) cope with the stress that this experience might imply.</div><div><br></div><div>- A good marketing and <strong>communication </strong>strategy should be aligned to the sustainability of the model revealing all the advantages and the multiple effects not only for the youth with an immigrant background (YIB) but also for the Institutions and the relative stakeholders.</div>]]></description>
