Things I learned:

- I am vulnerable but I know that God will always love me regardless of my situation or what I am currently dealing with.

- We must appreciate our bodies because we cannot love others without it.

- If we allowed God's love to enter our bodies, our lives will change in a way that we cannot explain. His love is so powerful that it can change everyone, even a person that is full of hatred and sin.

- It is okay to love yourself, just don't forget to love others too.

- God's love is a never ending love, He will always fill us with love even if we are alone.

Things that I have learned in today's conference:

- God gives the greatest and unconditional love.
- We must take care and appreciate our own bodies because we are created in God's image.
- A broken and tainted person cannot give love unless they heal themselves first using God's guidance.
- If you're tired of loving, don't give up, pray.
- God's love will heal you, wholly.
- Healing takes time, we must heal ourselves slowly and surely.

Ikinagagalak kong sabihin na mas nalinawan ang aking sarili at pananaw patungkol sa dalawang pangunahing paksang tinalakay ngayong araw (Human Body and Love of God). Bagamat malalim ang pagpapaliwanag sa mga ito ngunit malinaw na malinaw, klarong klaro sa aking pandinig at isipan ang mga pinupunto ng bawat salitang nabanggit.

Mas lalo kong kinilala ang aking sarili dahil sa mga kahulugan at pagpapaliwanag tungkol dito. Lumakas ang paniniwala ko na kung tunay ko ngang kilala ang Diyos, mas madadalian akong kilalanin kung sino talaga ako at mas lalong mapapadali ang paghahanap ko sa sarili ko. Nung una, iba talaga ang aking pananaw sa aking sariling katawan. Lagi lagi, araw-araw kong tinatanong sa sarili ko na, “Bakit ganito ang itsura ko?”. Sa araw na ito, dahil sa pagpapaliwanag ng aming guro, ako’y nabigyan ng kaalaman na ako ay kamukha ng Diyos at wala ni isa ang makakabago rito. Ngayong araw lang din ako nalinawan na ang katawan lamang ang tunay na nagbibigay ng pagmamahal ngunit sa loob ng bawat katawan ay hindi ito naipapakita. Mas lalo nating mahalin ang ating katawan kahit ano pang meron diyan, worth it at perfect ang bawat katawan ng tao.

Ang importanteng bagay ang hinding hindi ko kailanman makakalimutan ay ang pagmamahal ng Diyos sa’tin. Mas lalo kong naunawaan at naisapuso ang pagmamahal ng panginoon sa’tin, sa kanyang mga anak. Wala sa kanya kung makasalanan ka, wala sa kanya kung ano ka bilang tao, wala sa kanya kung ayaw mo sa kanya, wala sa kanya kung hindi ka naniniwala sa presensiya niya, at wala sa kanya kung ano ang tunay mong ugali dahil sa huli mas pipiliin, mas bibigyan ng impostansiya, at mas mamahalin ka pa niya ng sobra. Kung walang wala na tayo sa buhay, nahihirapan na, siya… sasamahan ka niya sa anumang laban dahil gano’n niya tayo kamahal. Sa kanya nagsimula kung paano tayo natutong kumilala, magpatawad, at ang higit sa lahat ang magmahal. Itong pagmamahal na ito ang hinding hindi ko kayang sayangin sa tanang buhay ko dahil mas nabigyan ako ng lakas na bigyan ito ng importansiya at mas lalo akong nabigyan ng pagkakataon na mag-share sa ibang tao at dagdagan ito sa pamamagitan ng paniniwala at pananampalataya sa kanya.

After our lesson about Theology of the body I realized that no matter how broken or disfunction you think you are, You will always be worthy and deserving of God's love. However, in order for God to love you, you will need to accept his love. Just like in Sir Maynards story the beggar wasn't able to reciprocate the love given to him not because he didn't, but simply because he wasn't given a chance to express his love. Another thing that I learned in our lesson today is that there is no such thing as big or small in terms of giving or sharing what you have for as long as it comes from your heart and not because you want to broadcast it all over social media for your own gain. Finally, what really struck me was knowing that no matter how sinned I am there will always be God that will forgive and accept me.

Our bodies are a vessel in which God has given us each component. Our arms may function to hug someone in order for them to feel loved, our hearts are designed to love, and we ourselves are loved by Jesus Christ. Our body, face, and identity are founded on his image, in which he stated that we are his greatest creation, a highly remarkable specimen of God's work. God first loved us, he gave his one and only son to save us from our sins, even if we are broken, even if we are sinful, he'd still forgive us and give us another chance, God creates miracles, God guides us, He watches over us all of the time, He loves us by giving us a reason to continue with our lives every day even if we have our own problems to deal with, and He shows his love for us by continuously protecting us specially in this time of pandemic. God wants us to be on a better path, he leads and loves us, he wants us to be near to him, he wants us to trust Him, He is the direction, He is the love, the love we deserve, the love in which you will never feel lost. He is interested in us, he wants to care about us, he wants the best for all of us, and his connection with us is the love that is truly worth investing in, in which we will find true happiness.

Our body is theology because it can make the invisible, become visible. Just like what was mentioned in the discussion earlier, our body is like our connection to God, our faith in him and our efforts to accept and return his love is like a mystery and destiny to be related to him. As what God tells us to do, we love others and multiply to expand the love in this world. Our sexual desires is also a result of the love we feel and understanding it helps us to become more open and free to our loved-one. Furthermore, our body is a language that includes all the physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions in which we express, understand, and expand using the life that God gave us. The moment God gifted us this body, it's already a reflection of him that we can love others and love him like how he does to us.

- God's love endures forever. God is so full of love that He created all of us so that He could share His love with others. We are all created in God's own image and likeness, our bodies are carefully made and perfectly designed by Him, where every single part of us is connected to one another. Our bodies are a sacrament of God's love because it makes the invisible visible, which implies that even though we can't see God, our bodies reveal so much about him. That is why, regardless of how different our bodies may appear, we all have the same purpose in life, which is to love and be loved.

After this lesson, I realized a lot of things especially when it comes to learning about the values of love and why is it important for us to love both our selves and others, we love ourselves because God wants us to, we receive his great unconditional love and we can validate love if we can give that love to others.

No matter how many times we get hurt the love of God will heal us, and if it is in the other scenario and we are the ones hurting others we cannot change our selves without God being our guide, We heal ourselves because we are with God, we cannot live on this earth if we do not love, no matter how much pain and heartbreak we as individuals go through, God will hear us and he will heal us from that pain, we are here so we can love and so we can be loved.

Today I realized that our bodies are one of the most invaluable things that God had given us. God created our bodies to function within a specific framework, in which we may respond in one of two ways: (1) neglect or (2) worship. We must always keep in mind that how we treat our bodies matters since it is responsible for making the invisible elements of our whole selves and others visible. It permits us to feel the gift of genuine love for/from another person – in a very HUMAN way. But we sometimes struggle with this. There are times where we are frequently so distracted and busy that we often disregard how we treat ourselves. And there is no better time to be reminded of the profound relationship we have with God and his love for us during those times. God's love is truly enormous and unparalleled in its magnitude. When we love God, it allows us to have an intimate relationship with him. It motivates us to change the way that we live. The more that we change, the more that our love and relationship with God deepens. I like to end by saying that trying to achieve a relationship with God without loving him is like attempting to satisfy thirst with an empty cup—you may try to drink, but the you will remain thirsty.

♡God may not directly show his love to us but if we open our eyes we will see it through other people. the people that loves us because the love they share to us is from God. He's is the Lover and we are beloved.
I believe that all of God's creation has a meaningful purpose, Our bodies are one of signs of God's existence because we are created in the image and Likeness of God. After the discussions I realized my main Reason of existing it is because we are created to love others and share to them the Love we received from God. "We share God's Love with each other". we always ask God why is there so much pain and suffering happening around us if his will is to love and be loved but we didn't realize that the problem is us because of the bad decisions we make it causes hate and chaos.
I also learned that there's a hope/chance for someone to change, even though a lot of people helped them. The only way is to love ourselves, be closer to God. Let him be into our hearts and let his love be our path to our daily lives.

“God created us out of love”

Today, I realized how much love I have. The love of God for me, love for myself, and the love that I’m ready to share with others. Sometimes, we just need to listen and reflect to understand the beauty of love and life. To be honest, I’m amazed how this topic is explained to us in the easiest way as possible. All of the examples are on point and accurate to our daily life.

“Walang sinuman ang nabubuhay para sa sarili lamang.. Tayong lahat ay may pananagutan sa isa’t isa.” This is from a song and it proves that we are all connected and have the ability to love one another. Even we think that we are not worthy of love, there will always be one person aside from God that will see our worth and will be our light in this dark world. Love is not just something that we feel but it is a sincere gift from God. A gift that we should receive and share to anyone. Life can be tiring but we should always remember that the love of God is our fuel and he is rooting for us every single time. We are all created from his likeness so should do our part.

I have realized a lot of things. That our human body is capable of doing anything, capable of making other people happy, capable of making this world a beautiful place to live in. 😊

Why does God loves us so much and wants an intimate relationship with us? From the bottom of my heart, we must put God first in everything we do, in that case everything will fall into their right place. Take me as an example, I put God in everything I do. I learned how to love myself and see the beauty in me which made it easier for me to love others wholeheartedly and genuinely. I believe putting God first puts us in a position where we will see the beauty in everything we do which will give us inspiration, motivation, and determination in every pain, struggle, and trials that we might face. We might face a lot of problems and sometimes we make mistakes, but just think it this way, think that we can learn a lot from those pain that we encountered so we’ll know the right thing to do next time which will make us a better person. If ever you feel alone, sad, and you are losing hope, always remember that God loves us and will always be there to guide and protect you. <3

I came to realize that we all exist with great significance and purpose. For our bodies hold an incredible power: the ability to love. I believe that this is possible because of Him, our creator, who gives love to everyone regardless of the differences.

God fills our body with love, just like an endless stream of water that never stops from flowing. We humans, just like different types of cups, live with diversity. Regardless of our differences in life, body, and personality, God can give love as long as we allow Him to. Even to those whose lives are full of sins, He can give hope, He gives chances to change, and most importantly, He can always give love that brings peace and clarity. There will be endless possibilities when we learned to allow God in our lives and have Him fill our bodies full of love.

God loves us for us. He wants an intimate relationship with humans because it allows us to trust him fully and have all our worries surrendered unto Him. Being in a deep relationship with God inspires us to embody Christ's qualities in our lives. It pushes us further into loving other people more freely, allowing us to live a better life. With these, we can live our lives full of humility, spreading love, and never losing faith even in the biggest of storms.

As I've listened to Sir Maynard it made me realize that in order to love someone else we have to make sure that we truly love ourselves. Because if you don't love yourself, how can you show your affection to other people. Yes, we're humans and it is normal to make a lot of mistakes. No one is perfect, that is a fact. We need to accept all our flaws and work on them because no one in this world would ever help but only ourselves. I don't get why people punish themselves even more after they made a mistake. Why not work on it after and learn from that mistake. That's just how the world works, we make mistakes and we learn from them. Another thing that I learned is to never compare ourselves to others because I believe that each of us is unique in our own way. Comparing would do us any good, it would make us feel less confident and insecure. Remember there will always be someone that will love us unconditionally and that is God. Don't ever worry because God is here for us. Imagine all the sins that we made and yet God still loves us. We should just be grateful for everything that we have and love ourselves and one another. A way that we can give back to God for everything that He did for us is to spread LOVE. God made us out of love, we should spread it to other people. 1 John 4:7 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God."

Todays lesson in Religion made me realize just how big and powerful Gods love is. That even if people have rejected him from time to time he is still as welcoming to everyone. With the love that we receive everyday we can see just how worthy we are to be loved and how pure it is to be loved. Having an intimate relationship with God can help us understand the truths about our bodies and our purpose in life. As I stated before Gods love is big and powerful, it is a way for us to be guided with a life full of love in a path that is flourished just for us because life can throw many obstacles and in this challenges we are sometimes swayed off path and we can be lost but in having an intimate relationship and being with God all things is possible.

I realized how much love is used in a person's daily acts . If the a group of people decides the start a foundation with the intention of giving them the opportunity start a normal life, and that the needy kindly accepts it and gives thanks towards the people responsible for the foundation, both are doing it out of love that which they both shared to each other. Perhaps what made me think this day is that how a person's act on the basis of what they think love is was misinterpreted by another person because they have a different understanding on how love can be given. This made me think as this can become a seed of a conflict that can lead to both parties being angry over one another which is the opposite of what is expected. I knew that conflicts had arose because of instances like these (with some having experienced myself) so I was wondering is there something more than outright rejection over one's interpretation. Should we begin to reach to the other side in order for us to gain their viewpoint and for us to understand that their actions that they're doing to us is in a place of love? If I can manage to find the solution to this problem, then we would be in bliss as we are going to be able to solve many problems in life as we would be able to adjust towards what we actually intend to reach as a result of our own understanding of love. Finally, it is indeed an important reminder for me to learn how to spread my love towards others which could be through personal, educational, or other charitable means. I need to remember that God wants us to love one another like how he loved us all one-by-one. So I must do what I can to engage in the communion and commit myself to do better so that everyone will have the gratitude of being loved by someone like me.

I have learned God gives us the greatest and most unconditional love. I have come to realize that despite my flaws, imperfections, and the mistakes I have made all throughout my life, God will always be there for me through thick and thin. Just because we have made wrongdoings in life does not mean we are undeserving of love.

In today’s discussion, I have come to understand myself better and to accept my flaws, and that I am not alone. Our lesson for today taught me that God has created us because He loves us, He gave us everything in life and we should be grateful. I learned that I shouldn’t be ashamed of the way I am because this is how God has created me and intended me to be. It became clear to me that to Him, my flaws don’t matter, because I am so much more than my flaws; I have a purpose.

Today’s lesson have gained me an understanding about self-love and love in general; God created me to love and be loved.

Ako po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sayo Sir Maynard dahil ang dami ko pong natutunan sa araw na ito at mas lalo kong naintindihan ang kahalagahan ng pagmamahal at ng ating katawan.

Natutunan ko po na ang Pagmamahal ng Diyos ay walang katumbas at walang katapusan. Ang Diyos ay makikita natin sa ating katawan kaya ating pahalagahan ito. Sobrang natamaan po ako sa sinabi ninyo kanina na “Ang mga nang go-ghost ay hindi talaga nagmamahal dahil ang katawan lamang ang may kayang makapagmahal.” Marami po sa atin ngayon ang nagtatanong at minsan ay sinisisi ang Diyos kung bakit po tayo nasasaktan at nahihirapan pero hindi natin naiisip na tayo po pala mismo ang naglalagay sa sarili natin sa posisyon na iyon at hindi ang Diyos. May kalayaan tayong mamili ng ating desisyon na kung minsan imbes na gawin natin ang tama, mas nadadala tayo sa paggawa ng maling gawain o desisyon. Noon, ang alam ko lamang po ay galit ang kabaligtaran ng pag-ibig pero may mas malalim pa palang kabaligtaran kundi ang pagnanasa. May mga iba’t ibang klase ng tao sa mundo. Ang iba ay matibay, mapaglihim, mahuna pero lahat tayo ay nasasaktan at marunong magmahal. Kung sakaling naliligaw man po tayo ng landas o may mga panahon na hindi po natin kayang mahalin ang sarili natin, hindi kaya ng ibang tao na mahalin tayo at buuin katulad ng gusto natin, bumalik lang po tayo sa Kaniya dahil ang pagmamahal niya ay kailan man di mauubos para sa natin. Gustung-gusto po nating magmahal pero hindi natin binibigyan ng chance ang iba na mahalin din tayo. Buksan po natin ang ating mga puso at isipan sa mga taong gustong mahalin tayo. Ang pinakanatutunan ko po ngayon araw ay “In order to survive, we must love one another and share God's love, but most importantly, we must first love ourselves before we can love others.” AMEN <3
