1 Using the image of a grandmother as a logo is a great idea, and oracle dou is a pretty good title. I need to combine these two ideas and how they are written.

2 I have a lot of images but the brand needs to unify the brand tone, Ellen suggested I choose three of my favourite images

3 Think about the way the POP is done and think about the images in your head. Will customers queue for their food and take it straight away or sit down and eat it. What would the table chairs, crockery and cutlery and things on the table look like if they were sitting down and interacting. This can be demonstrated using a mock-up.

After this group critical critique, I have identified some of my own issues, I have done a lot of experimenting, I wanted to create something new (building seed paper, silicone inverted film for seed models) but they were not well integrated and articulated together, resulting in a rather fragmented and not particularly clear communication. Next I want to focus on how my images articulate and improve the quality into something deliverable. Focus on what's in the brief.

So my problem is not with the concept. My problem is with some of the design choices.

Storytelling.

1. the concept of the seed paper is great, maybe it needs a package to put it in.

2 could also make my zine bigger to put the seed paper in: I could make a diorama book, and at the same time I need to make the right choice of paper material. Paper reference (GF Smith) Artist reference (Chisatotamabayashi)

3 The handwritten font on the Zine is too childish, there are some scribbles, maybe it could be printed in letter press.

Invitation layout:

1 The font on the invitations for information about the event is too small and very cluttered. If I try to do this and older people have very poor eyesight they can't see it. Also, the information was heavily repeated and the client didn't want to spend that much time reading it.

2 I made a mistake because when cutting the paper I accidentally cut out more of the information, making the whole layout change and look incomplete.

3 One of the printed images was too dark in colour, the family atmosphere needed more positive and bright colours, as well as rethinking the material of the paper

Step 1: Collect the paper, tear it and put it in a blender

After collecting the paper, tear it into very small pieces. Grab a blender jar and fill it half full with freshly torn pieces of paper.

Step 2: Pour in warm water and blend to a smooth pulp

Pour some warm water over the pieces of paper in the blender jar. Continue pouring water into the blender jar until you have filled the blender to the top line. You will now turn the pasty mess into a fine paste by turning the blender on at low speed for about ten seconds. After ten seconds on the low setting, increase the speed for about thirty more seconds. After this, there should be no visible paper residue.

Step 3: Mix in Seeds and Strain

After adding the seeds, pour the mixture into a strainer and remove as much water as possible. You can use a spoon or spatula to press the mixture against the filter to squeeze as much water out of the pulp as possible.

Step 4: Spreading the pulp, flattening and drying

You will now need to lay a terry cloth, microfibre towel or flannel on a flat surface. Pour the pulp onto the fabric and then use a spoon or spatula to spread the pulp onto the fabric. You can apply it in any shape you want, just make sure to spread it as thinly as possible to ensure it dries faster. After applying the pulp, use a sponge to flatten the mixture and absorb more water. Once one side of the pulp is dry, flip it over and allow the other side to dry completely. Once both sides are dry, your seed paper is ready to use.

Seed paper makes great note paper, invitations, postcards!
