Traditional Action- Customary, routine and habitual actions
Affectual Action- Based on an emotion
Value-Rational Action- Desirable for its own sake
Instrumentally-Rational Action- Most effiecient way
Two levels of meaning= Level of cause is determined by the structure.
Level of meaning= Is determined by the individual

Blumer: Actions are based on meanings we give to situations and meanings are not fixed. Behaviour is partly predictable, but their is room for negotiation.
