As an exempt nurse at this time, and as a charge nurse in our unit, this device would very much assist in my personal ability to monitor the patient from outside the room. This device, along with outside monitors and a window view of the patient, would allow for exempt and non - exempt care providers alike to have a full view of the patient's care while limiting exposure and use of valuable PPE.
