         <description><![CDATA[<div>Launch Date: April 24th, 1990. The mission purpose for the Hubble space telescope is to gather light from other sources and take images of them. We can view these images and get a good look of our surroundings in the Universe. The Hubble space telescope discovered the first organic molecule (molecule with carbon and hydrogen bond) outside of the Solar System.</div>]]></description>

All the images it takes are from the heat of celestial bodies. It was the first telescope to see light from a planet outside of the solar system.</div>]]></description>
