As a kid, I always spent time with my mom as she was a stay at home parent. She always gave me positive reenforcement and taught me ways to motive myself when it came to school, sports, or making friends! Im glad that I still model these behaviors as an adult. It had a prosocial effect on me.

Cheer was a huge part of my adolescence. I did it for ten years but it was from the ages of 10 to 14 that really shaped who I am because of my closeness to my coach and teammates. Being on a team and being surround by these people almost everyday taught me so much about friendship and motivation. My coach was always on me about my tumbling, stunting, or flexiblity. She may have been harsh sometimes but she definitely made me push myself and learn how to work hard for something.

Shane Dawson, Trisha Paytas, and Jeffree Star were my entire world during high school. Everyday I ran home to watch videos of them on YouTube. No matter how many times I watched the video, it never got old. For me, they were my comfort people. Any troubles I had that day, went completely away when I watched them. I totally modeled all of their behaviors. I would constantly quote them, talk like them, or be influenced by anything they did. I feel like it was both prosocial and antisocial. On one hand, I was prosocial because it was a way to bond and make jokes with my friends and other people, but at the same time it was antisocial because I genuinely just wanted to stay home and watch them on Youtube.

My friends and I have always been close since childhood but the three of us got especially close after graduation. We were able to drive ourselves now, had money, more freedom, this was a time in my life where I was extremely happy. We all modeled each others behaviors because we were constantly around each other. Now that we are in our 20s, we have more responsibilites and priorities so we don't get to hang out as often, but we all still act like each other and model each others behaviors because of the extreme closeness. Definitely had a prosocial effect.

The person who I am closest with right now is my boyfriend, Dylan. We see each other so much we definitely started acting like each other. I suddenly talk just like him and he talks just like me. He's an amazing person so modeling his behaviors isn't a bad thing. It has a prosocial effect on me because he is so outgoing that he has brought me out of my shell and has boosted my confidence.
