  • from a travel angle: world map, polaroid camera, globe, jeans & boots
• Low Poly
  • Full body shot: maybe be partially digitized, such as a step into a digital landscape or reaching through a computer
  • close up: one half of face digitized

I'll need to bring several ladders/stepstools for levitation shots

Generating the polygons will take a significant amount of time, as will editting out support devices in the levitation photos

Definitely need to borrow a better tripod than I currently have

First of all, the freedom we were given encouraged me to get creative with my concept, and it was really fun to do some non-traditional editing when I usually just do portraits. I also learned a lot during the editting process - I had never done low poly generation before and it's now my new favorite type of art. The pixelation on the first image took a ton of time but turned out really, really cool - which brings me to the second question, challenges. The TV photo actually was unplanned, as I originally had a levitation photo that was far too similar to my second concept, and I had to figure out what to do instead the day before the assignment was due. I still wanted to incorporate some sort of digitalization and levitation, and randomly found the TV in an alley - leading me eventually to the photo you now see. Though each final image took around 3 hours to complete, I am really proud of the end result - I overcame the challenges that faced me and managed to combine low polygons, levitation, and pixelation into 2 (in my opinion) really cool photos.]]> 2018-01-30 04:22:51 UTC https://padlet.com/nkerber19/hhv38d1q48rt/wish/225935361
