_{His vision grew blurrier without apparent cause, until the day he woke up to find that the world he had perceived for so long had been reduced to nothingness.}

_{Dejun's dreams of attending a regular university all but crumble to the ground like the petals rapidly falling out from his hair.}

_{Since he'd gone blind, even the soil didn't know what to do with him.}

_{The control he normally held over his abilities constantly buzzed at his fingertips, restless with no guidance.}

_{So before the problem could get even worse, he found himself getting shipped off to god knows where, landing him in a facility that promised to help figure out whatever was wrong with him.}

_{He had no idea what anyone or anything looked like and simply resorted to trusting everyone blindly (quite literally), until someone had taught him how to use his abilities to turn flowers into 'vision anchors'.}

_{It was an odd way of seeing, but it was vision nonetheless. That said, he was in no position to complain.}

_{Shame that Dejun never had the chance to see his mentor's face.}

_{— BLINDNESS}

_{Dejun is blind, and though he can still just barely recognize light with his own two eyes, he has chosen to wear a blindfold over them to put more energy into his other senses instead. Thus, he mostly navigates the world by seeing through plants, providing him a somewhat clear vision (think 10/10 vision, and a warm bnw filter with blurry edges).}

_{Plant matter has to be alive in order to be used as vision anchors, meaning Dejun cannot use dried leaves or withered plants to see. He must also have a clear path or connection to said plant, anything capable of blocking that connection through touch will prevent him from using the plant as a vision anchor.}

_{Dejun often picks fresh flowers to tuck into his hair as a kind of backup or emergency vision. But plants without roots or those separated from the soil tend to wither faster, so they are not always a reliable source of vision.}
