Teachers should not be removed from the sections if they leave in the middle of the academic year, they should be exited from the course sections with an exit date of their last date they were working. An administrator can be placed as a new teacher of record with a date after the the exit date of the previous teacher. Once a new teacher is hired then you can exit the administrator from the section using an exit day of the day before the new teachers start date. This will ensure that the gradebook in PowerTeacher is intact and no data is lost.
