I tried to commit suicide and they locked me up because they called me crazy, unstable, mental. They said I was different, and I had to stop being "different". They said it was my fault for being "different" and I was bullied for being different. I was called crazy and mental. I was forced to see therapist after therapist and psychiatrists after pychatriast. I was forced to become homeschooled. I was outcasted by my own family for being "different". Threatening and even leading to killing people that are different or don't seem to fix that box of theirs they consider, "freedom" For example, in the F451 universe, Clarrisse--she was the first and possibly might be the only character was still considered normal but also curious. Even with her, she was killed. The government just couldn't allow her to be her. Clarisse asking--not doing, but simply asking about books stirred up a conversation because that was out of their "freedom" box, the only normality she was allowed to do was to fall in love with a family on TV, just like Mildred and her friends. But even in reality, this happens. Kids our age are exploited and shamed for liking things they want to like. Taken out of school even for expressing themselves freely.
