_{2 placement (23^rd Feb - 6^th Mar 2026) includes a mix of office-based activities and departmental insights into such departments as Sales, Quantity Surveying, Quality, Customer Experience, IT, Marketing, Design, HR and Community Engagement. Students will also visit their manufacturing facility, which supplies timber frames/steel frames for our houses, and visit a live construction site to gain firsthand experience of the building process. Students will also get to complete a manual handling and safe pass courses for free.}

_{STEPS EYF is an engineering experience that gives transition year students a hands-on, fun and practical insight into engineering at third level and as a career.} 

_{Each In-Person experience is held over 3-5 days. During your experience, you will attend interactive talks and presentations, get hands-on experience with group-based activities, visit local industry and meet qualified engineers at various stages in their careers.} 

Open to all TY students interested in a career in the Built Environment with a focus on Architecture, Architectural Technology, Spatial Planning and Environmental Management.
