It was about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from us but that's ok. We wanted to go to Nickelodeon universe. The rides looked amazing! When we walked inside it looked like a regular mall but as we walked straight we saw the indoor roller coasters, water park, aquarium, ice skating rink etc. Sadly the rides weren't open till 4 so we had to wait around. That's when I decided I wanted to ice skate. The line wasn't that long but they had to do so much with the ice it took forever. We planned on going to a national park in Virginia, it was called Shenandoah National Park. But of course, we had to pack a lot of stuff. By that, I mean like clothes, electronics, food and etc. 

So, leaving at 5 am in the morning, we took off and drove for 4 hours with breaks along the way. We arrived at this place called Lurray Caverns and it was pretty cool. It had weird rock formations and water seeped onto the walkways.

After Lurray, we went to our hotel, unpacked some stuff, then called it a day. 

The next day we went on multiple trails. The trails were high up in the mountains and the view was great. You could see the entire town below. We took a lot of photos and continued on. It was getting late so we headed back and called it a day.

On our last day, we packed our stuff  and drove back home. When it was time to go home my dad picked me up and we went home. That Saturday went by super fast. The next day which was Sunday, was a pretty boring day. We didn't really do anything. I stayed home and facetimed my friends most of the day. Over the weekdays which was basically a longggg weekend, I also didn't do much. I was home mainly cleaning and kind of redoing my room since it was a mess. I also cleaned out my retire closet and got rid of unwanted clothes. That was just most of my spring break. I really enjoyed waking up late and not having to do school work. On the next Saturday we were supposed to go to New York but we couldn't cause of the weather. Surprisingly i did horrible and the people who did good was my aunt and dad. I only got 1 right. So when we finished we started watching King Kong VS Godzilla. While we were watching it my aunt made popcorn and we got a BUNCH OF CANDY, it was like candyland and 🤬 wonka's chocolate factory were combined. When the movie ended my aunt and her boyfriend opened the refrigerator and they had all the things to make your own custom Fruit-a-Bowls. We all ate some and then we cut the birthday cake right after and the flavor was cannoli cake. the funny part was that my aunt ordered the cake online but then the store said you could not order ahead anymore so she bought an easter bunny cake and she had to decorate it herself. Then we opened gifts and the party came to an end. It was a great party and i would love to have another party like that!

I woke up early on Monday morning, packed and ready to leave for our trip to New Hampshire to visit colleges for my sister. I got out of bed brushed my teeth and got dressed. On Tuesday I drove to Atlantic City. I went to the Hard Rock hotel. Everything there was very clean and nice. I went to this restaurant that was very fancy and the waiters there were so kind! All of them had very heavy Italian accents though so it was kind of hard to understand them. I felt VERY full after I ate there. I went back to the hotel and got ready for bed. The first night I fell asleep fine, but the second night I could NOT fall asleep. To start, my brother Dylan was snoring and it sounded weird so I stayed up listening to him snore. Then, the people next door to us started shouting. They kept coming in and out of their room; it was very annoying. I fell asleep for a couple hours only to wake up again at 2 in the morning to them yelling. I don't even know what they were yelling about, they were just screaming. I ended up falling asleep somehow and woke up the next morning on the floor. All in all, pretty good trip to Atlantic City I guess. We got there and It was tuesday, the warmest day of the week but the coldest water. There was a dock with a sign saying "no diving, shallow water" I assumed the water was about 5 feet tall, until I had the idea to jump in. My brother and I were playing a long jump competition and I whispered to him "hey, joe I am going to prank mom by jumping in the water" He thought it was a ridiculous idea, I also did but I had faith it would get a laugh out of my mom. Then I did what I thought I would never have done, I jumped into freezing cold water... But it wasn't only freezing, it was also super shallow! but not like no diving shallow, it was like no jumping shallow, I'd say around 2-3 feet deep. And the worst part is that I cannonballed! I immediately got out and my knees were cut up from the rocks on the surface of the water. My brother, Joe thought it looked fun and asked me if he could jump or if it would hurt, I showed him my knees and I told him it was more shallow than we thought, but he still jumped. Then out of the water Joe came, Soaked and scraped up on his knees, I repeated my words, "I told you, you didn't listen" We both got a towel, looked at the water and said the same thing, "I am no doing that again." Until the next day, I woke up and did the normal things when you wake up, such as brushing my teeth, getting dressed and then eating breakfast. Then I went outside to look at the water. After a couple of days, we went home. Next thing i know, it's already Easter! So my family and I got nice and dressed up to go to church. After church, it's about 12:45 and we came home to see a deer in our front yard eating some of the flowers my mom planted a couple weeks ago. The deer ended up leaving and we did to. We were heading to my Nonna's (grandma) house where we had dinner and had a egg hunt with our cousins!

I brought headphones so i could listen to music. So we finally got to my grandparents house. dropped off the doggy, Then continued to seaside heights. When we made it we were walking up the stairs to the little house. But it ha rained the day before and there wa a giant puddle there and there were DUCKS inside the puddle eating. so of course i had to stop and admire them in all of their glory. When i went inside the house I thought that it was quite small, And it was but i LOVED it. james called the top bunk so i unfortunately got the bottom bunk. After we get all settled my parents said "lets go to the bay" so we walked down to the bay which was super close to us. As you could imagine, it was very windy and cold. but james refused to put on his jacket because he was making a statement. I still don't know what statement he wa making but it certainly was something.  After we decided to go back to the house , We ordered dinner from the restaurant klee's. We thought james couldn't have the fries there because of allergies, but then we found out that he could and we were happy. I got an absolutely scrumptiou buffalo chicken wrap but could only eat half because it was a big wrap. Then we finished "the great british baking show" and went to bed. BUT as it turns out the top bunk had a heater right above it and james overheated.

The travel agent called and said she found a flight on a different air line that we can go home the same day we were supposed to. the only down side is then we can't get are money back that we spent on the previous flight. we say whatever and she gets us the last 5 seats on the plain. It ended up being 2 flights that we were all split apart for and the bumpiest flight ever.
