The way the sentences are formed is made to connect both characters' arguments, using the same or similar words at the same time while arguing two completely different things. Sentences are put into two line stanzas, which give the text rhythm and a sense of how the argument is being fought, as the first two sentences seem to discuss the topic, and then the next ones explain their point of view.
