*I scheduled an occupational therapy group session in the client lounge at 2PM.*

Staff member 2 to staff member 1: "I am going to set up a family conference in the client lounge at 2PM."

Staff member 1 to 2 staff member: "Okay sound great! I'll start setting up." 

Me thinking to myself: "Ugh, I already booked the room for that time. Why didn't they check the reservation chart? Now I have to cancel the meeting because I have no place to hold it! I am so mad!!"

*Staff members cleaning up after meeting*

Staff member 1 to staff member 2: "Oh no, I just caught a glimpse of the reservation chart and saw that our fieldwork student had booked it for 2....I had no idea!  I feel terrible now!"

Staff member 2 to staff member 1: "What? Why didnt she tell us? I realized the opposing team was using a player from a different team in the tournament who was not on the roster. 

At first, I was assertive and confronted the coach directly and calmly, with evidence by saying I said "I realized you have a player on your team from another team that is not on your roster. This could lead to disqualification from the tournament which would not be fair to the girls on your team" and he got defensive and said "You're a liar, I do not." 

And in turn I got very snappy back as I am a firm believer in following the rules provided to keep the game fair for all. The league director got involved, knowing my side of the story was true but since the opposing coach and him were friends, he disregarded the situation. At that time, I said "Well it doesn't matter now, my team is winning and rightfully so if you aren't going to follow the rules. It's what deserved for not following the rules."

Me: "I didn't think we got paid for our lunch break?"

Senior coworker 2: "Nobody knows how many hours you worked. Just go in and throw in some numbers."

Me: "I don't want to get in trouble."

Senior coworker 1: "Psshh I just throw in a 9 or a 10 everyday. Sometimes I put in an 8 to make it look more realistic."

*Me thinking to myself "Are you serious? I feel like I should say something, but I doubt it will do anything. These guys have worked here for years and I'm sure it wouldn't look good for me to correct them on my first week of work.... uggg I feel like this is so unethical though."

Senior coworker 2: "Gah, what a goody two-shoes. She's not going to change her hours."

Senior coworker 1: "They don't pay us enough for what we do. I just make up my hours so I get equal pay."

However, they didn't fix the leak. I felt too bad to say anything, but 5 months later the leak had damaged the tub again and mold started growing! When I reported it this time, they kept saying they would send someone out, but never did. i finally had to call the health department, and then the complex finally fixed the leak and resealed the bathtub again.
