When I went to the GP, I waited such a long time: I stressed about it, but I needed healthcare. I feel that many people have had similar exeperiences. Therefore, I would like to write about the pros and cons of the NHS.

The health service is free in this country, compared to other countries where it costs a lot.

Any medication is free for everyone.

Under the age of 18, or under Universal Credit, people's medication and treatment are also free.

Private healthcare has a high cost.

You may have to wait for long time, especially in A&E, and there are long waiting lists for specialist treatment.

There is also some difficulty in choosing your appointment time.

You can't choose a doctor or treatment.

There is a very long waiting list for specialists' care.

Overall, compared with other countries, this country has good healthcare treatment.

The NHS has a lot of problems, but we need the NHS.
