Environmental justice means taking care of the world around you. In Flint Michigan, the polluted water was sent to people, an injustice. I think being just is about equality.

To me environmental justice means that if the water is dirty that the people with the water should not have to pay for the water, or if there is polluted air, the citizens of that city or town should have a say of what should happen to the thing that is polluting the air.

In my opinion, environmental justice means that everybody in a community has to contribute to helping/saving the environment. I also think that environmental justice can mean equity for different environments. For example, one environment might have more trash or pollution than another, or one might need more people to take care of it and others need less people to take care of it.

I think environmental justice means when the people in the community have to help the environment, I also believe that this could mean that taking care of the environment surrounding you. In Flint the water was polluted and was dirty and had lead in it so the community started fighting for justice and better healthier water.

What environmental justice means to me is probably having justice even if your skin color is different from others. People are treated horribly and sometimes even killed just because society thinks people who are black aren't deserving of justice. Flint Michigan proves this because of the population, which was mostly people of color, were treated differently by getting gross water that contains lead inside. So environmental justice means that everyone, of every race can be treated fairly.

Environmental justice means to me that we should keep communities healthy and clean. I don't completely know what environmental justice means, but I think it is, justice for the environment or to make it fair or better. I know justice means equal rules and behavior for everyone and I'm guessing that environmental justice is similar to that.
