         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>President Edgar Lungu, the president of Zambia is the head of the government and country of Zambia. His country is run by a representative democracy. A representative democracy is a democracy where the people vote for people to vote on laws for them. The USA is a representative democracy. Zambia is further split into chiefdoms that are governed by a chief. The chief handles disputes and gives out the land.</strong></div>]]></description>

The courts decide how a law is to be interpreted in a disagreement. The legislative branch decides whether to pass laws or to not. It was also very important when people found copper in a spot that is now the largest copper mining place outside of the US. They found that in the 1920s.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Sweet corn is a main ingredient in many Zambian dishes. One of those dishes is Nshama. Nshama is a thick porridge made from sweet corn. Another dish is samp. Samp is made of crushed sweet corn and is served with beans. Another non-corn dish is ifishi. Ifishi is green vegetables with peanut sauce.   </strong></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>In Zambia many people enjoy soccer.  Other sports like that include baseball, rugby, and squash. Women mainly enjoy playing netball which is similar to basketball. Another hobby is dance. Dance has an important role in their culture. Most dances have two separate lines, one with women and one with men. Dance makes the evil spirits go away in their culture. Dances celebrate group events and personal milestones.</strong></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>The main arts in Zambia are making masks, weaving, and wood carving. When people carve wood they usually make drums, canoes, furniture, bowls, and animals. They also enjoy making masks out of bark and mud. Usually the women will weave things such as  baskets and chitenges. Chitenges are brightly dyed pieces of cloh. With a piece of cloth, you wrap around your body. It is considered a costume.</strong></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>In Zambia, there are many endangered animals. One of those animals is the wild dog. They are endangered because they go into farms and eat their livestock and the farmers will then shoot or poison them.Another endangered animal is the black rhino. There are only 3,000 black rhinos left in the world because they are hunted for their ivory. Honey badgers are also endangered because similarly to the wild dog, it’s natural prey has been reduced so honey badgers will eat chicken and get poisoned by farmers.</strong></div>]]></description>
