Stonehenge is a crómlech-type megalithic monument, in addition to other elements such as holes, moats, mounds, etc., built between the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age, located near Amesbury, in the county of Wiltshire, England, about thirteen kilometers north of Salisbury. It was said to have been built by Celtic high priests, but radiocarbon determination showed that the site was built at least a millennium before the Celts were in the area, discrediting the theory. The purpose of the construction of this great monument is unknown, but it is assumed that it was used as an astronomical observatory that was used to predict the seasons. However, as the decades pass, this enormous monument built on a grassy hill in the countryside of Wiltshire, England, remains a mystery.

Daniela sanchez herraiz 1ºESO D

The name Alhambra has its origins in an Arabic word meaning "red or vermilion castle", perhaps due to the color tone of the towers and walls that completely surround the hill of La Sabica, which under starlight is silver in color. , but under sunlight it takes on a golden hue. The Alhambra is an essential monument, since it is a witness to the Arab government in the territory and its architectural style, and that is why it was recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
