Tuần này với câu lạc bộ âm nhạc cùng với sự kiện 20/11 Ngày Nhà Giáo Việt Nam. Các con có một số tiết mục múa và hát: "Món quà tặng cô", "Proud of you", "Ngày đầu tiên đi học" gửi tặng đến các thầy cô giáo Lucita. Các cô cảm ơn những lời chúc mừng tốt đẹp và tình cảm ba mẹ dành cho các thầy cô trong trường, lớp nhé ạ.

This week the music club combined with the Vietnamese Teachers' Day event. The children had a number of dance and singing performances: "A gift for the teacher", "Proud of you", "First day of school" sent to Lucita's teachers. Thank you for the good wishes and love your parents give to the teachers.

Điều đặc biệt có tại Lucita là các con được sáng tạo màu nước trên nền wet on wet, giấy được thấm nước trước khi vẽ. Với đôi tay nhỏ nhắn và trí tưởng tượng của các con, nét bút được lướt nhẹ nhàng trên giấy, sự loang màu làm cho các con rất thích thú. Mỗi giờ vẽ, các con sẽ được nghe 1 câu chuyện và phát triển trí tưởng tượng của các con thông qua cảm nhận câu chuyện của từng trẻ, mỗi bức tranh sẽ mang một nét rất riêng của bản thân.

Tuần này các con cùng cô vào bếp làm món "Thiệt xiên nướng”. Từ các nguyên liệu đơn giản như: thịt lợn, lá móc mật, ớt chuông... Tất cả các nguyên liệu được cô và các con chuẩn bị cẩn thận. Các con quan sát cách cô thái thịt, ướp hương liệu cho thịt. Bạn nào cũng háo hức muốn tự tay làm que xiên thịt để được thưởng thức thành phẩm của mình. Trong thời gian nướng, mùi thơm của thịt toả ra khắp gian bếp.Thật là ngon làm sao!

Ngày xưa có một cô bé rất đáng yêu, được bà ngoại rất yêu thương. Một lần bà cho cô bé một chiếc khăn quàng bằng nhung đỏ. Cô bé rất thích chiếc khăn, đi đâu cô cũng chỉ thích quàng chiếc khăn đó, vì vậy mọi người đều gọi cô là cô bé Khăn đỏ.

Một hôm, mẹ bảo cô:

- Khăn đỏ ạ, đây là miếng bánh và bình sữa. Con mang đến cho bà nhé! Bà ốm yếu, cần phải ăn uống cho khỏe người. Con đi ngay bây giờ kẻo tí nữa lại nắng. Con đi cho ngoan, đừng có lang thang trong rừng lỡ vỡ bình, không có gì mang đến biếu bà. Khi vào buồng bà, con nhớ chào bà, đừng có mải chơi ở góc nhà nhé!

Khăn đỏ đặt bàn tay nhỏ nhắn của mình vào lòng bàn tay mẹ và nói:

- Con sẽ làm tất cả những điều mẹ dặn. Nhà bà ngoại ở trong rừng, cách làng không xa lắm, đi chừng nửa tiếng đồng hồ thì tới. Khăn đỏ vào rừng thì gặp chó sói.

Em không biết sói là một con vật độc ác nên không thấy sợ. Sói nói:

- Chào cháu Khăn đỏ! Khăn đỏ đáp:

- Cháu xin chào bác!

- Cháu đi đâu sớm thế, cháu Khăn đỏ?

- Cháu đến nhà bà.

- Cháu xách gì nặng thế?

- Thưa bác, bánh và sữa ạ. Hôm qua, ở nhà mẹ cháu làm bánh, bà nội ốm cháu mang đến để bà ăn cho khỏe người.

- Bà cháu ở đâu, cháu Khăn đỏ?

- Đi vào rừng độ mười lăm phút thì tới.

Dưới ba cây sồi to là nhà bà cháu, quanh nhà có nhiều bụi dẻ, chắc bác tìm thấy ngay.

Sói nghĩ bụng:

- Cái mồi non béo ngon này chắc là hơn hẳn cái mồi già kia! Sói tự nhủ phải mưu mô làm sao xơi được cả hai.

Nó lân la đi cùng với Khăn đỏ một đoạn rồi nói:

- Này cháu Khăn đỏ ạ, cháu hãy nhìn những bông hoa tươi đẹp kia kìa. Sao cháu không ngó quanh mà xem. Bác chắc là cháu chưa bao giờ lắng nghe tiếng chim hót véo von phải không? Cháu đi đâu mà cứ đăm đăm thẳng tiến như đi học ấy. Ở trong rừng vui lắm cháu ạ! Khăn đỏ mở to mắt ra nhìn.

Em thấy ánh nắng rập rờn qua cành cây đung đưa, đó đây toàn là hoa thơm cỏ lạ, em nghĩ bụng:

- Nếu mình mang một bó hoa tươi đến tặng bà chắc là bà thích lắm, trời còn sớm, mình đến bà còn kịp chán. Thế rồi Khăn đỏ đi hái hoa. Hái được một bông em lại nghĩ có lẽ vào thêm tí nữa sẽ có bông đẹp hơn. Cứ như vậy, Khăn đỏ tiến sâu vào trong rừng lúc nào không hay.

Trong khi đó, sói lẻn thẳng tới nhà bà cụ và gõ cửa.

- Ai ở ngoài đó đấy?

- Cháu là Khăn đỏ đây, bà mở cửa cho cháu với! Cháu mang bánh và sữa lại cho bà đây.

Bà nói:

- Cháu cứ đẩy then mà vào. Bà yếu quá không dậy được. Sói đẩy then cửa, cửa mở toang. Chẳng nói chẳng rằng sói vào thẳng giường rồi nuốt chửng bà cụ. Rồi nó lấy quần áo của bà mặc vào, lấy mũ trùm đầu, lên giường nằm, lấy rèm che lại. Khăn đỏ thơ thẩn hái hoa trong rừng. Mãi tới lúc hái nhiều quá mang không hết, em mới chợt nhớ đến bà, vội lên đường đến nhà bà. Khăn đỏ ngạc nhiên thấy cửa mở toang, bước vào phòng thì thấy có gì khang khác, em nghĩ bụng hôm nay ở nhà bà sao lại thấy rờn rợn, chứ không thoải mái như mọi khi.

Khăn đỏ nói to:

- Cháu chào bà ạ! Chẳng có một tiếng trả lời. Em lại bên giường, kéo rèm ra, thì thấy bà nằm, mũ trùm kín mặt, trông lạ quá.

Khăn đỏ ngạc nhiên hỏi:

- Bà ơi bà! Sao tai bà to thế?

- Tai bà to để nghe cháu rõ hơn.

- Bà ơi bà! Sao mắt bà to thế?

- Mắt bà to để nhìn thấy cháu rõ hơn.

- Bà ơi bà! Sao tay bà to thế?

- Tay bà to để bà nắm lấy cháu dễ hơn.

- Ui trời ơi! Sao mồm bà to đáng sợ quá!

- Mồm bà to để bà nuốt cháu dễ hơn. Vừa dứt lời, sói liền nhảy ra khỏi giường, nuốt chửng Khăn đỏ đáng thương. Xong xuôi, sói lại nhảy lên giường nằm ngủ và ngáy o o.

Một bác thợ săn đi qua nghe thấy, nghĩ bụng:

- Quái! Sao bà cụ già rồi mà còn ngáy to vậy, phải tạt vào xem bà cụ có ốm đau gì không? Bước vào phòng, đến gần giường, bác thấy sói đang nằm.

Bác nói:

- Chà, thì ra ta lại gặp mi ở đây, quân khốn khiếp.

Ta đi tìm mi mãi…

Bác giơ súng lên định bắn. Nhưng bác chợt nghĩ có lẽ sói đã ăn thịt bà cụ, tuy vậy may ra vẫn còn có thể cứu được. Bác không bắn, mà lấy kéo rạch bụng con sói đang ngủ.

Vừa rạch được một nhát thì thấy chiếc khăn đỏ choé, rạch thêm nữa thì có cô bé nhảy ra kêu:

- Ối chà, cháu sợ quá! Trong ấy tối đen như mực. Bà lão cũng còn sống chui ra, tuy hơi thở đã yếu. Khăn đỏ vội đi khuân đá thật to nhét đầy bụng sói. Sói tỉnh giấc muốn nhảy lên nhưng đá nặng quá, nó ngã khuỵu xuống và lăn ra chết. Ba người đều vui mừng. Bác thợ săn lột lấy da sói mang về nhà. Bà lão ăn bánh uống sữa do Khăn đỏ mang đến, ăn xong bà thấy người khỏe hẳn ra.

Khăn đỏ nghĩ bụng:

- Từ nay trở đi đừng có rời khỏi đường chạy một mình vào rừng sâu. Mẹ đã dặn vậy thì phải nhớ. Có người kể là một lần Khăn đỏ lại mang bánh đến cho bà thì một con chó sói khác la cà đến gần tính chuyện rủ rê để em rời khỏi đường. Nhưng Khăn đỏ đã đề phòng, cứ việc thẳng bước.

Đến nơi em nói cho bà biết em gặp sói và em thấy mắt sói rất ác.

- Nếu không phải là ở đường cái thì nó đã ăn thịt cháu rồi.

Bà bảo:

- Cháu vào đây để bà đóng cửa lại kẻo nó vào. Vừa đóng xong cửa một lát thì sói đến gõ cửa gọi:

- Bà ơi bà mở cửa cho cháu. Cháu Khăn đỏ mang bánh lại cho bà đây. Hai bà cháu im lặng, không mở cửa. Con vật đầu xám rón rén đi quanh nhà mấy lần. Rồi nó nhảy lên mái nhà, định đợi đến chiều tối, khi nào Khăn đỏ ra về sẽ lén đi theo sau, rồi sẽ ăn thịt cô bé trong bóng đêm. Nhưng bà cụ biết rõ ý định của nó. Ở trước cửa nhà có một cái máng nước bằng đá.

Bà bảo Khăn đỏ:

- Cháu đi lấy cái thùng xách nước, Khăn đỏ ạ. Hôm qua bà làm dồi. Cháu đi lấy nước nấu dồi đổ cho đầy máng. Khăn đỏ xách nước đổ mãi mới đầy cái máng to ấy. Mùi dồi thơm bay xộc lên mũi làm sói rỏ dãi. Nó cứ nghểnh dài cổ xuống để ngửi, quá đà sói bị trượt chân rơi từ mái nhà xuống đúng vào máng nước nóng và chết. Khăn đỏ vui vẻ đi về nhà, không sợ bị ai đụng đến mình

LITTLE RED-CAP (LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD) Once upon a time there was a dear little girl who was loved by everyone who looked at her, but most of all by her grandmother, and there was nothing that she would not have given to the child. Once she gave her a little cap of red velvet, which suited her so well that she would never wear anything else; so she was always called „Little Red- Cap.‟ One day her mother said to her: „Come, Little Red-Cap, here is a piece of cake and a bottle of wine; take them to your grandmother, she is ill and weak, and they will do her good. Set out before it gets hot, and when you are going, walk nicely and quietly and do not run off the path, or you may fall and break the bottle, and then your grandmother will get nothing; and when you go into her room, don‟t forget to say, “Good morning”, and don‟t peep into every corner before you do it.‟ „I will take great care,‟ said Little Red-Cap to her mother, and gave her hand on it. The grandmother lived out in the wood, half a league from the village, and just as Little Red-Cap entered the wood, a wolf met her. Red-Cap did not know what a wicked creature he was, and was not at all afraid of him. „Good day, Little Red-Cap,‟ said he. „Thank you kindly, wolf.‟ „Whither away so early, Little Red-Cap?‟ „To my grandmother‟s.‟ „What have you got in your apron?‟ „Cake and wine; yesterday was baking-day, so poor sick grandmother is to have something good, to make her stronger.‟ „Where does your grandmother live, Little Red-Cap?‟ „A good quarter of a league farther on in the wood; her house stands under the three large oaktrees, the nut-trees are just below; you surely must know it,‟ replied Little Red-Cap. The wolf thought to himself: „What a tender young creature! what a nice plump mouthful—she will be better to eat than the old woman. I must act craftily, so as to catch both.‟ So he walked for a short time by the side of Little Red-Cap, and then he said: „See, Little Red-Cap, how pretty the flowers are about here—why do you not look round? I believe, too, that you do not hear how sweetly the little birds are singing; you walk gravely along as if you were going to school, while everything else out here in the wood is merry.‟ Little Red-Cap raised her eyes, and when she saw the sunbeams dancing here and there through the trees, and pretty flowers growing everywhere, she thought: „Suppose I take grandmother a fresh nosegay; that would please her too. It is so early in the day that I shall still get there in good time‟; and so she ran from the path into the wood to look for flowers. And whenever she had picked one, she fancied that she saw a still prettier one farther on, and ran after it, and so got deeper and deeper into the wood. Meanwhile the wolf ran straight to the grandmother‟s house and knocked at the door. „Who is there?‟ „Little Red-Cap,‟ replied the wolf. „She is bringing cake and wine; open the door.‟ „Lift the latch,‟ called out the grandmother, „I am too weak, and cannot get up.‟ The wolf lifted the latch, the door sprang open, and without saying a word he went straight to the grandmother‟s bed, and devoured her. Then he put on her clothes, dressed himself in her cap laid himself in bed and drew the curtains. Little Red-Cap, however, had been running about picking flowers, and when she had gathered so many that she could carry no more, she remembered her grandmother, and set out on the way to her. She was surprised to find the cottage-door standing open, and when she went into the room, she had such a strange feeling that she said to herself: „Oh dear! how uneasy I feel today, and at other times I like being with grandmother so much.‟ She called out: „Good morning,‟ but received no answer; so she went to the bed and drew back the curtains. There lay her grandmother with her cap pulled far over her face, and looking very strange. „Oh! grandmother,‟ she said, „what big ears you have!‟ „The better to hear you with, my child,‟ was the reply. „But, grandmother, what big eyes you have!‟ she said. „The better to see you with, my dear.‟ „But, grandmother, what large hands you have!‟ „The better to hug you with.‟ „Oh! but, grandmother, what a terrible big mouth you have!‟ „The better to eat you with!‟ And scarcely had the wolf said this, than with one bound he was out of bed and swallowed up Red-Cap. When the wolf had appeased his appetite, he lay down again in the bed, fell asleep and began to snore very loud. The huntsman was just passing the house, and thought to himself: „How the old woman is snoring! I must just see if she wants anything.‟ So he went into the room, and when he came to the bed, he saw that the wolf was lying in it. „Do I find you here, you old sinner!‟ said he. „I have long sought you!‟ Then just as he was going to fire at him, it occurred to him that the wolf might have devoured the grandmother, and that she might still be saved, so he did not fire, but took a pair of scissors, and began to cut open the stomach of the sleeping wolf. When he had made two snips, he saw the little Red-Cap shining, and then he made two snips more, and the little girl sprang out, crying: „Ah, how frightened I have been! How dark it was inside the wolf‟; and after that the aged grandmother came out alive also, but scarcely able to breathe. Red-Cap, however, quickly fetched great stones with which they filled the wolf‟s belly, and when he awoke, he wanted to run away, but the stones were so heavy that he collapsed at once, and fell dead. Then all three were delighted. The huntsman drew off the wolf‟s skin and went home with it; the grandmother ate the cake and drank the wine which Red-Cap had brought, and revived, but Red-Cap thought to herself: „As long as I live, I will never by myself leave the path, to run into the wood, when my mother has forbidden me to do so.‟ It also related that once when Red-Cap was again taking cakes to the old grandmother, another wolf spoke to her, and tried to entice her from the path. Red-Cap, however, was on her guard, and went straight forward on her way, and told her grandmother that she had met the wolf, and that he had said „good morning‟ to her, but with such a wicked look in his eyes, that if they had not been on the public road she was certain he would have eaten her up. „Well,‟ said the grandmother, „we will shut the door, that he may not come in.‟ Soon afterwards the wolf knocked, and cried: „Open the door, grandmother, I am Little Red-Cap, and am bringing you some cakes.‟ But they did not speak, or open the door, so the grey-beard stole twice or thrice round the house, and at last jumped on the roof, intending to wait until Red-Cap went home in the evening, and then to steal after her and devour her in the darkness. But the grandmother saw what was in his thoughts. In front of the house was a great stone trough, so she said to the child: „Take the pail, Red-Cap; I made some sausages yesterday, so carry the water in which I boiled them to the trough.‟ Red-Cap carried until the great trough was quite full. Then the smell of the sausages reached the wolf, and he sniffed and peeped down, and at last stretched out his neck so far that he could no longer keep his footing and began to slip, and slipped down from the roof straight into the great trough, and was drowned. But Red-Cap went joyously home, and no one ever did anything to harm her again.

Các con được tự do chơi, tự do sáng tạo các trò chơi từ các đồ chơi có sẵn trong lớp học. Tự tạo nhóm chơi và thông qua đó trẻ học được cách chia sẻ, trao đổi với nhau trong khi chơi

Besides the hours of sitting neatly to participate in learning activities, free play activities are the time that children are really like. Children are free to play and create games from the toys available in the classroom. Creating their own playgroup and through that, children learn how to share and exchange with each other while playing.

Sáng thứ 5 vừa qua, các con đã có chuyến đi dã ngoại đến Vườn Nắng. Ở đây các con đã được thoả sức vui chơi, tìm hiểu và thu hoạch các loại rau, ăn những múi bưởi chín mọng ngay tại vườn. Các con rất hào hứng khi được mang những bó rau tươi sạch về nhà.

Last Thursday morning, the children had a field trip to Sunny Garden. In here, the children were able to freely play, learn about and harvest vegetables, and eat ripe grapefruit segments in the garden. The children were very excited to bring home bunches of fresh vegetables.

Tuần này, các bạn nhỏ Tulip có hoạt động rất thú vị đến siêu thị Winmart. Ở đây, các con được thầy cô giới thiệu những mặt hàng và cùng nhau mua sắm những loại rau củ quả để làm học liệu cho các giờ học tiếp theo.

This week, the Tulip children had a very interesting activity at Winmart supermarket. In here, the children were introduced to items by their teachers and shopped together for fruits and vegetables to use as learning materials for the next lessons.
