all outer planets have more moons then the inner planets. the outer planets are all bigger, too. In fact, they are so big that most of them can fit over four earths inside it. The outer planets are much colder as well, the farthest planet, Neptune, is over 10 times colder than the inner planets. Also, planets like Uranus are gas giants, which means that they have gas and are impossible to land on. They also are much farther from the sun than the inner planets. they are spread apart from each other than inner planets. There orbit take longer to finish, because the are farther away from the sun. -Christian

There is a big temperature difference in inner and outer planets inner are closer to the sun and warmer. And size is a big difference outer are gas giants.

The moons of our Solar system all share one thing, they all orbit planets. First of all, moons have very rocky surfaces that are covered in craters from asteroids in the asteroid belt and Kuiper belt. The planet with the most recorded moons is Jupiter. It has a whopping 63 moons. Its 4 largest moons are about the size of Mercury. That's large for a moon!

In our Solar System alone, there are 187 moons that orbit the EIGHT planets in our Solar System!
By Elijah Soares

The asteroid belt Is a line of asteroids that are all revolving around planets. But it's different in the Asteroid Belt. In the Asteroid Belt, all of the asteroids revolve and orbit the Sun. And all of these asteroids have a strange, unusual surface that Is not spherical at all.

Our galaxy is a spiral galaxy, which means it looks like a glowing pinwheel if you look at it from the outside. The galaxy is made up of solar systems that have planets and suns just like us.
