A large number of students were present (9 out of 11). The teacher explains again that She is going to be working with them.

How did the students react to your teaching, activities and materials? How did they react to the lesson?

They were generally willing and eager to work. In relation to the activities and materials to work with, as far as I could see students liked them.

They were able to understand my explanation and to solve the activities proposed. through the use of the board, the use of flashcards and some mimes

I designed some handouts to work that day, I got everyone to name them, and then I gave an example in oral form; how was a day in my life, telling my own daily routine.

To continue I invited the students to participate and encouraged them to speak.

With this activity I realized , I was doing well, the students could understand me, and it was very satisfying, because I managed to create a meaningful learning environment.

What aspects of the class need to be changed or improved?

I think that one aspect to improve could be the time to say goodbye. When the break rang , most of the students wanted to leave quickly.

So I told them to wait a second, that we were saying goodbye and then they started to say goodbye with a" see you next class¨. I think it's a matter of habit.

What teaching strategies did you use, which were effective and why?

I used different strategies, such as; collaborative learning, the use of technology to make the lesson more dynamic, and visual aids.

I used flashcards, silhouettes, cards, concrete material with vocabulary related to the topic to be developed. all of them were effective because they helped the children to reinforce the vocabulary.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I had planned an activity that consisted of a game with the netbooks, but we couldn't do it because we ran out of time. So I decided to implement it in the following lessons.

In this class we revise vocabulary related to the topic we had been working on.

we worked more orally and with mimes I proposed the students to work with an activity where the words were out of order, and the students had to make sense of the sentences, ordering them well. I explained on the blackboard how they had to do it, to guide them.

What needs to be improved?

1. I speak in Spanish more than I need to.

2. I need to modulate more.

What was well developed?

The students enjoyed the activities and all of them participated actively.

I got them to talk about their drawings.

They liked and enjoyed the game. They took control and I let them do it. I also felt involved in the game and I also enjoyed it.

They started get used to the phases of the class: greeting, working in silence, lining up and self-evaluating their learning experience at the end of the class.

I came to the end of my teaching practices, this time and as a closure we played a game of Bingo related to daily routines.

We did it in groups, the winners had to say Bingo when completing their cards. At the end I thanked them all by their accompaniment and gave them a present. The truth is that despite the nerves that always appear I managed to feel very comfortable with this group.
